Jags setting up a move to London?

It's patsfans. I don't need to meditate standing on my head for 4 hours before deeming a post worthy. I throw **** against the wall and go back to looking at tranny porn.

Now thats what I am talking about.

Boston to Seattle or San Diego is the longest possible trip and such trips are rare. You would have 8 trips to London each year and as many as 16 if you count the London teams road games.

If we are establishing franchises outside the US we might as well use that time to restructure the entire NFL model and do away with divisions. What is the point of having them in 2018, really ?

I don't give a **** about the logistics I think it would be cool as hell to have an NFL team in another country. It helps that it would be easiest on our team. LMAO if this happens @ the West coast teams who would have to fly there and have a 7 hour timezone difference.

You don't like divisions? Man, division rivalries are the most compelling things about the regular season for any team out there. Those Buffalo fans were losing their minds with joy when it was a 3 point game. How can you not love that?

Who the hell has ever heard of a London Jaguar? Makes no sense. I mean, who would be a sponsor?

We will have to pronounce it “jag you er” if they really do this. It’s a horrible idea. It puts a lot of travel pressure on the team that other teams won’t have. I used to work in Europe and worked all over the world. The travel is a huge drain and I am a knowledge worker. I didn’t have to be physical at all.

I think given how we are curb stomping everyone for about 15+ years straight has made me jaded.

On a more serious note I personally would love to do away with the preseason, see instead a 18 week regular season, with 2 BYEs where you play the entire conference + your own division a second time.

This way you could do away with all this ******** about someone playing an easier schedule and also make intra-conference stats more comparable. To account for fewer games against the other conference I'd make the playoffs mixed.

But then again that's just me. I can see the logic behind keeping it all as it has been for a while.

If they can make more money then it will happen. I am not a fan of it, but I am not a fan of much that happens these days...

NE to MIA <<< NE to London

NE/NJ/Buf to london <<<< ten/indy/hou to london.

sometimes it feels like more people need to know:

If the jags move to london the best outcome for the league is for afc east to travel each year

Robert Kraft has said, only half-jokingly, that the Patriots would be willing to play in London every year . . . as long as they're the away team.

My point was simply that it's still not exactly an improvement. [Then again, not playing in MIA every year would be. . . .]

I highly doubt it. Khan is dumping a lot of money into Downtown Jacksonville and the surrounding area. I’m not sure why he’d bother doing that if he was planning to move that team to London.

You need divisions for rivalries (more for fans).
I think a London team would have something like 4 game home stands and 4 game road trips.

I love the idea. I love the early Sunday games and the glimpses into another country. I’d love a team in Mexico as well. I think it’s fun.

Maybe he's smart enough to not let sunk costs hold him back from something better.

I mean it's Jacksonville. Downtown Rapesburg, Somalia is probably better.

This would provide many obstacles in terms of travel, etc.
Would probably have to be 4 road games, then 4 home and repeat........Add a second bye week and you could place it in 2 of the 3 travel weeks ( if they followed my logic weeks 4/5-9/10, or 14/15 minimizing the disruption....

I don’t think there’s any real rivalries anymore given the turnover in the league. I’d like a more simple AFC and NFC and get rid of divisions. I’m tired of the Pats playing the same teams every year.
