As for the zone comment, the Jags under Marrone play Cover 3 shells/variants (like Seattle) but he's not shortsighted. If you have a great athlete like Ramsey (who's also willing to get physical) you can leave him on an island.

The small wrinkles you can (realistically) introduce to your defense with a certain player is what makes the entire unit versatile. So while Ramsey's buddy Gipson can be relied on play center fielder (in the same vein as ET), it doesn't mean Ramsey is playing 1 deep every snap.
