As someone who hates DirecTV, this is great news. Make it available elsewhere please.
For those cheering this, I'd warn that the price is probably going to go up since Goodell will chase every last dollar to line his own pockets and those of the 32.
Good to know but based on your track record it's got be for something nefarious.Honestly, so far, the VPN + Gamepass solution has been fantastic this year. Last year was the first major blip on the radar of issues and they have been resolved through the 10 or so games I've watched live so far.
IIRC it was $180 for game pass and then I pay $10 a month for ExpressVPN. I use ExpressVPN for other things (no not child porn, you a-holes) so there's additional value there for me, but a $180 one-off payment that takes care of all of my NFL needs is worth it to me and seems cheaper than paying for DirectTV + Sunday Ticket.
I think the move is to make it available on streaming services provided on Apple TV/Amazon.I have DirecTV. It’s expensive, but it has great video quality unlike cable, which is compressed multiple times and looks like crap.

I feel like many don’t get Sunday Ticket due to their contempt of DirecTV. Make it available across more formats and subscriptions could skyrocket.
Amazon has the $$$ for this easily
I used to be able to connect my iPhone to the TV through a HDMI splitter and the picture was great. As of this year week one, I now get a message on the TV that says “HDMI output not supported.” It’s a real bummer because not only am I losing the ability to watch on the big screen, but I’m stuck holding my phone/tablet the entire time.I don't think it'll effect me one way or another. I have Commiecast/Xfinity and use Sunday Ticket through the app installed on my Fire Stick. If it did, I would just use a cable connected from my laptop to my TV and watch it on the Reddit streams.
Don't get me wrong...I totally agree it would be better across multiple platforms. DirecTV will probably come up with an enormous bid because they are dead without exclusive rights.
The streaming product, as I've seen it so far, doesn't cut it for a big screen, although it's fine for a tablet. It has buffering issues, though, and some outright interruptions to go along with the quality fading in and out.
