Mahomes is amazing. I’ve caught two Chiefs game already, so I was already sold on his abilities (how could you not be?). His poise tonight was very impressive.

How could someone like Andrew Luck be so overhyped while a guy like this was relatively overlooked on a draft day? He went in the top of the first round, so it’s not like he was ignored, but compared to other top high QB prospects of the last decade? Crickets.

I like him but I am not calling him Brady's predecessor as the Best just yet

He looks like he has a chance to take the crown as the best of the next generation, though there are a lot of promising young QBs. The guard is finally changing.

Mahomes has a very different game from Brady. He plays a lot like Rodgers.

Jared Goff is more like a young Brady. An all-out pocket QB who plays disciplined and executes a scheme to perfection, though we’ll see when he doesn’t have all-pros everywhere on offense.

There's lots of QBs who looked like world beaters/bonafide starters to start their career and faded. Mahomes very well might not be worth of being included in that list but I think people forget how solid to dominant players like Osweiler, Sanchez, Culpepper, Cutler, RG3, Bridgewater, etc looked at various points only to end up journeymen/backups with no SB rings (at least as starters)

Let's see how Mahomes is doing when there's tons of tape on him.

They shouldn’t have lateraled the ball on that last play. The initial receiver *had* the first down. It made no sense to run such a deep route on 4th down and then give up yardage.

Don't ask me why,but this kid Mahomes reminds me of a young Aaron Rodgers...just the way he sets up in the pocket then rolls around when in trouble and finds the open guy - going to be a force for the next decade

I am kind of glad the Pats aren't going to Denver this year

Playing in KC aint a whole heckuva lot better. While it isn't Green Bay (cold), Gillette (same) or Denver (altitude) it's a tough place to play as an opponent.
