Don't scare me like that.

Making a catch off Gilmore is an accomplishment these days. If he can keep up the level of play he had in the 2nd half of the year from now he will be a probowler pretty much every year.

I thought he was dinged up the 2nd season. Was pretty valuable the SB year. Had 74 catches for almost 1000 yards (953 yards) and 7 td catches. Had 116 catches for 1410 yards the last 2 years, still a productive receiver.
He was TERRIBLE the second year. IIRC he was still under contract and we cut him.
This is the guy who dropped so many passes or prompted the making of a video of a garbage can on wheels wearing his jersey having footballs thrown at it. No thanks. I’d rather keep a rookie.

We shall see, you may be right, Belichick may want no part of him. But obviously Belichick knows way more than us, so let’s see what he does.

2 min drill
Gronk 15 yards (zone)
spike
James White (zone)
time out

2nd unit

Dorsett contested catch vs. McCourty
spike

Hogan beats Rowe on a comeback (Hogan having a pretty good day)
Burkhead curl route for 7-8 yards
Hollister 10-12 yards (looks like the starting slot player in 1st team work)
Run D brick wall so far

Hoyer a deep bomb to Dorsett (Lewis)
#39 PBU vs Gronk
incomplete deep to Lucien (Jackson)

He had one good season then sucked and we couldn’t get rid of him fast enough. He isn’t better now.

He gave the Bengals pretty much exactly what he gave us.

I'm really excited to see Hollister in game action. I'm getting the impression they want to use him like the player who shall not be named

This is my second practice this year & Hollister looks like the best non-Gronk/Hogan/Edelman receiver to me. his route running for a player his size is what stands out.

I think we were all pretty nervous about the LT spot. Many thought Wynn would get a shot at it especially when the Pats listed him as a tackle when he was drafted. It's great to hear Brown is adapting to that spot. It's also nice that Brady is as tall as he is. Jimmy G would never be able to see over this mountain
I was nervous until they traded for Trent Brown. Funny how the media and people on here were in denial thinking Wynn was going to be at LT over him. I tried telling you guys how good he was but it went right over most people’s heads.

While Solder is making the big bucks in NY, Brown will not only be an upgrade at LT, but the best LT since Bruce Armstrong.

Funny you mention Wynn.

We’re already putting him ahead of Matt light? I like the optimism.
