Willy Caballero somehow decides the best pass he could play is a deft chip over the attackers head, unfortunately he forget he was Willy Caballero and instead Ante Rebic hooks the ball on the volley into the top corner. Great finish, even worse howler.

Surprising outcome. Nigeria's loss doesn't look so bad now. Bet they're feeling a sense of urgency now that Argentina, the team that was supposed to own the group, is sitting at 1 pt only. Now or never for the young team. Iceland is good. Won't be easy. Hopefully they can control their nerves.

Glad argentina lost. Can’t stand them. Now they need Nigeria to win tomorrow. Anything can happen. I am not surprised in anyway that Croatia won this game. Croatia has some nice players. I saw it as 50-50 coming in.

By the way that was some goal by modric. I think Croatia can make a run here. They could likely face Denmark in the round of 16. Winnable game.

I was thinking about that. Allowing that 3rd goal could be costly. Iceland needs to play aggressive tomorrow and try and win by more than one goal. Won’t be easy though even against Nigeria.
