Marsh describes Pats as "no fun"

Boston sports or all time?

I think I can make a case for all of those players as GOAT in their sport, not just in Boston. That's the amazing thing about it. I got to see Ted, Pedro, Tommy, Bobby and Russ all play within an hour's drive of my home. I could be the luckiest sports fan EVAH.

I'm ok with throwing a Gatorade jug in general. Its childish but people lose their **** sometimes. It happens.

But because of playing time? When his performance sucked?

What an entitled punk.

He was not for this place.

Grow up.
When the defense just posted a first half shut out while you were sitting.

Agree 100%. They are all worthy of A GOAT discussion.

Ted was the greatest hitter who ever lived. If he played during his war years his numbers would have been beyond how obscene they are now. Ruth and Mayes are there too.

Pedro typically isn't part of the discussion but from 1997-2005 his performance with respect to the average # of runs & HRs per game is ridiculous.

If people consider Kofax in the GOAT discussion, Pedro must be considered.

Cassius Marshmallow could have made a lot of money endorsing Fluff.

Considering the fluffernutter is the official sandwich of Massachusetts, it could have been right guy, right time, right place. Now he's in California, good luck pushing Fluff there.

But he's now just a couple of hour flight from the San Fernando valley, where they're always looking for good fluffers.

Exactly.

There's obvious fodder for the "nutter" part, but I'm not going to risk pissing Ian off with that one...

Side note: Fluff(TM) is available out here, but you have to know where to look. Generic whipped marshmallow spread is ubiquitous.

Chris

It is amazing that something like this never came out. Did he flip it in the locker room? Or on the field? If on the field how come no reporter saw it?
If in the locker room, then I am amazed at how that whole organization can keep this under wraps.

Yeah that's what gets me. I can appreciate being angry about not playing but when things are going great and you are throwing a tantrum at halftime you are officially a shiitheal.

Got qualms with not playing enough? Good. Talk to your coaches about where you need to improve so you can contribute more. But do it other than when there's a ****ing game going on...

If Nink could get kicked out of meetings and it never came out, some bottom half of the roster guy throwing a temper tantrum isn't going to hit the news wire.

I know he runs a tight ship, but it is still impressive that no one gave a hint to anybody in the media. I have always thought there are always hookups in every locker room where certain players give local or even national media a few cramps to chew on.
Now I wonder what really happened with the Butler.

belichick agrees:

Has he ever gone back to the tablet, or did he rely purely on the old school still frame pics, last season? For some reason, I can imagine seeing both in my head.

By “ homers” you must be talking about the fans who have been right about how good this franchise has been the past 18 years. You certainly weren’t talking about the crybaby morons who *****, moan, and whine about every and any little thing they can glom onto.

I was talking about the guys who bury their heads in the sand to avoid noticing any negative issues of the team.
