Marsh describes Pats as "no fun"

There should be more doubt now, not less.
Nope, not for me. But I realize others have different opinions

Most Pats fans in Patstown liked Coach a lot, but the Captain, who lived just north of Patstown - did not. The Captain hated Coach - the whole off season. Now, please don't ask why; there's no valid reason. It could be, perhaps, that his shoes were too tight. Or it could be that his head wasn't screwed on just right. But I think that the most likely reason of all... may have been that his hat was two sizes too small. But, whatever the reason, his hat or his shoes, he stood there on Captain Mountain booing his boos.

I love how all of these nobodies keep using the Patriots' publicity to get their name out there, as if anyone would give a **** what they have to say if it wasn't slamming the Pats

Its like the cool thing to do now, you want to draw attention to yourself and get some air time on ESPN/NFLN then just throw some shade at the Pats

It wreaks of insecurity and a desperate need for attention/validation

Is someone really being foolish enough to blame the offense or defend the defense?
The offense can absolutely be blamed for the manner in which their first 3 drives of the game ended.

Captain, you know I love your work here, but you're out of your mind on this.

Maybe when he rushes the passer, he should try to not overpursue 30 yards downfield like he did on every play in NE. It’s a miracle that he has a job in the NFL.

I thought those face signs were permanent. I thought he must be very good for BB to go for someone like this with face tatoos. I draw the line on people with face tatoos.
He did not have permanent tats on his face and he was not good for us. So wasted draft picks.

It's about time someone from the Pats (DMac) came out and said IT:
“No, [Johnson] is a good football player. He won a Super Bowl. Live off that attention. I don’t get why he keeps talking about the Patriots. You’re a good football player. You’ve done good things in this league. Don’t you get enough attention after you win a Super Bowl? But if you talk about us it’s great attention for you. I’m sure his followers on social media have gone way up.’’

How the Patriots responded to being called ‘no fun’

Seriously Johnson, STFU! That's what I wish one of the Pats had said. Maybe BB, like he did to Derrick Mason.

One of my all time favorites.

Like the play Butler made in SB51 to totally lose his man in what would have been an easy TD for Atlanta if he wasn't saved by Hightower sacking Ryan?

Butley got burned badly early one, but he adjusted as we gave up zero points in the 4th quarter against the Falcons. With butler on, I think we adjust and beat the eagles, history proves it.

I thought Brady underthrew Amendola on that long completion. An easy TD if he catches it in stride, as there were no Eagle defenders around. They got no points on that drive so that might have made a difference in the outcome.

Though Brady did have a pass rush in his face on the play so it's hard to blame him too much for that.

The last drive irritates me the most. Brady had James White wide open, looked him off, then looked back at him to throw it and got stripped sacked. I hate when games end like that.

Wow, the tea leaves on this guy's behavior are coming out when he was here. What a fool to open his mouth. I hear he threw a gatorade jug because we were ahead and he was not playing. You confronted BB?

But that can be said about every team. Has there ever been a team that was correct in every roster decision and STILL didn't win a Super Bowl?

Of course there are mistakes made in building the team and mistakes made in coaching. They're human. It doesn't make me a homer though to acknowledge that no team has done it better for a longer period.

Someone could study every at bat in the career of Ted Williams and conclude his OBP could have been higher. But the same is true for every baseball player ever, and it ignores the fact that nobody got on base on average more often than Ted did, before or since.

Ted
Pedro
TB12
Russell
Orr
Someone pinch me. Did I really live that or was it a dream?

I dont agree or like every move they make but left a lot of super bowls on the table? I can see 1 they may or may not have, how do you come up with many?

Looking at the big picture, we've been to 10 SBs and won 5. I can live with that.

Any fan who isn't is an entitled jerk with no concept of how hard it is to win championships.

Boston sports or all time?

Of course it wasn’t fun for him. When you’re bad at your job, everything sucks.

I've had fun and I'm still having fun.

The only times that really bothered me were in 1976, 1995 and 2007.
1976 because the Raiders game was stolen by a crooked ref on the same day that the Steelers won but lost Franco Harris and Rocky Blier for the AFC title game, giving the Raiders a free ride to the SB and an easy AFC win.
1995 because we had a legit chance to take out GB and Favre but got derailed by our own HC who was busy making plans to skip town right after the game.
2007 because, well, you know.

The rest of the losses are made less painful by the incredible wins they gave us.
