Love this Celtic story....but the Cavaliers won't be coughing up games do to inexperience like Philly and the Bucks.
Love that Boston starts the series at home.
If the C's can get hot from the 3 pt line, get the crowd lit.....this could be fun.
Personally, I see this series as bonus ball
But why the $*&% not....right?!!!!
That's my approach to this.

For me, the loss of Kyrie was an unknown.

I had no idea if Tatum or Brown were up to being the top dogs on offense.

That Bucks series gave these guys a ton of confidence.

They were mentally tougher than Philly.

I think they will give the Cavs hell.

After seeing how these playoffs have gone I just have been thinking... Do we even want to play Hayward or Irving all that much next year? I really have come to the conclusion I don't care what seed they get be it the 1st or the 8th. They will absolutely blow through the east next year in the playoffs if healthy.

While i have to admit the young kids are playing well... for the talent on this team to be good enough to make the eastern finals... I don't care how well coached they are. The rest of the East minus whatever teams James is on next year is a joke. And it will continue to be a joke compared to that Celtics team next year.
What these past two series have demonstrated,....how important quality depth is. While Philly and the Bucks had the best player on the floor every night, their 4-10 players are extra JAGgy. Boston will be in such great shape depth wise over the next couple years compared to the rest of the East...unless Philly can sign premium vets.
And then there is The Brad.....what an advantage

Brad will outcoach Lue. That is a forgone conclusion.

Come to think of it Lue doesn't even really coach the team anyway.

Doubted us last round, going Celtics in 7. Didn’t expect Tatum and Brown to grow up like this.

outside of lebron, the C's have the upper hand at every other position

the celts need Rozier to abuse Hill, Brown to abuse Korver, and with the way he has been playing, Horford to abuse Love......and whoever LeBron is covering needs to make LeBron work

This.

Celts have more quality depth, more diversity on offense, have HCA and are better defensively.

LeBron does so much he produces like 3 players out there and covers up for the hacks not named Love.

have monroe go out there and go olynyk on love

Cleveland's supporting cast can be good but they can also be inconsistent...The Cavs only have the Best player on the planet LBJ. I would let Lebron beat us and that's by scoring 60 a night. I would focus on stopping Lebron's outlets. We have to win some of the individual match-ups as stated Rozier and Brown have to bring it Tatum have been a Beast and is a difficult match-up ask Philly. Above Average Al HorFord is really playing well Smart needs to keep his streaky shooting and shot selection to a minimum. I hope I'm not wrong but I don't think the Celts will be an easy out this time around.

What Mahkus Smaht did in the last minute was incredible.

Marcus Smart offensive rebound 109 - 107 1:00
Marcus Smart makes tip shot 109 - 109 37.3
Dario Saric lost ball turnover (Smart forces TO - Al Horford steals) 109 - 109 22.5
Jayson Tatum makes layup (Marcus Smart assists) 109 - 111 18.8
Smart makes free throw 2 of 2 11.2
Ben Simmons bad pass (Marcus Smart steals) 112 - 114 0.0

I like how Brad is almost using a Seven man rotation..If Morris can be little more consistent on O we would give Cleveland hell. Morris did not shoot well in the Philly series he has a decent all around game. We don't want to put too much pressure on the pups...not like we haven't. ;)

Let's go Celtics!

*** CAT LIKE QUICK!!! ***

The Larkin loss hurts but because CLE has zip for on the ball defense we should be ok.

Tatum, Scary and Brown are smack in the middle of the pressure and it's only gonna build. I view it as necessary to take that next step to winning a title.
