Gronkowski committed to 2018

There was nothing serious about the press conference, other than the serious insanity of anyone who cared about it from a football point of view.
Only serious insanity would prevent any fan from realizing the direct link between Gronk's embarrassing and disrespectful performance on Saturday, the fan and media reaction to that performance and Gronk's sudden appearance at Gillette (with his agent) for a face to face with his head coach.

I still say draft a quality TE. I love Gronk. But he needs some young’n breathing down his neck to ground him a bit. Plus getting a full season out of him is not a sure thing

Be careful about suggesting competition for our players. Some posters here hate that idea.

My post was about people taking the P.C. seriously, as Gronk was clearly just messing around, not about Gronk being Gronk and then having a sit down with BB, so I really don't care about your take as to why a meeting happened, whether you might actually be right about it or not.

No offense, but it's a separate issue.

Side note: What a screwy post. I had posts from two separate forums co-mingling.

Great news. Love Gronk and would have hated to see his time with the Patriots come to an end. Now let's focus on other things !

Yeah, because the draft is full of TE who are competitive with Gronk.

Think you can flog this all the way to September Tom? I don't. Time to find a new melodrama for the pats fans fainting couch.
He'll find something...

Nobody on this board is wrong more often than you.
......says the seriously insane Deus. :D Thank you Deus!! It's a badge of honor to have Pinkhat hate coming my way. You're either insane or a fool to think there is zero connection between Gronk's Gillette appearance on Saturday and Gronk's Gillette appearance today. He stepped in it big time and today's meeting is Rosenhaus' acknowledging that.

Hey Joker. How are ya!?
Gronk, the often injured, ass clown, motor cross rider, unfocused used to be, should be traded on draft day for picks.
You see my life doesn’t revolve any player or team.
How many of you in here have those tacky team logos all over your vehicles?
Lol.

Maybe we could trade him for Matt Snell,

  1. I'm not a pink hat, and you can't possibly be ignorant enough not to know that, so I don't know why you bothered trying to go there.
  2. Part of that post was because of a mix up with a post from another forum. I had already edited and explained before you posted. You're wrong a lot, but I can think of one or two people here who are wrong more often.
  3. Gronk had already dropped hints that he was coming back. Nothing happened today of any note to anyone capable of thinking past the contrived drama.

Clony!!
How are ya my horribly accented neighbor from the North!?
I only speak the truth. Yes the truth does have a tendency to sting sometimes.
Gronks and Brady’s best days are way way back there in their rear view mirrors.
It was a nice run*** while it lasted.
We’ll get into the *** at another time.

For the most part, neither do I.

In my opinion, BB has eased up on veterans, much like he did on Lawrence Taylor. I also think Brady and Gronk have paid dues and want to enjoy their remaining years more.

I think the myth of the Patriots as a Marine boot camp, with perfect boy scout players, is just that, a myth. Brady and Gronk are clearly 2 of the all time NFL greats and BB, being a smart coach, is going to adjust.

Just My opinion. All others are perfectly entitled to get panties in bunch about these side issues.

Oh, get ****ed, thou fan of useless loser teams. I thought you got banned.

BB eased up on LT!?
B.B. did what he was told to do by Parcells.
Now back to the infantile idiot that used to be a pretty good TE.
Running back to Gillette today with his tail between his legs was damage control.
Screw him. Nobody is bigger than the game or B.B.
Gronks days are numbered.
Well earned in my humblest of opinions of course.

Banned?
Why would I get banned?!
For not wearing rose colored glasses while discussing the pats?
Gronk is wearing everybody out.
It’s not funny anymore.
Trade him for picks.

Ray- I just started back in here earlier today.
I saw the big dope Gronk was acting like a big dope....again and I just wanted to confirm my thoughts that of course pats fans would try to give him a pass .......again.
Confirmed.
Don’t worry gang we will be discussing the dark days**** soon enough. Right now the subject is Gronk.
