Well, at the most basic level, Taylor hasn't thrown any touchdowns to the other team.

Hasn't throw any TDs to his own team either. And Brady would have more yards if Hyde didn't bearhug Cooks.

Charles Clay is lucky, if that last ply isn't so close people would be harping on how he had a pretty bad drop the play before.

That play was a good counterpoint to everyone who says the James play would have been a touchdown if it had happened a half-yard downfield and was punishing James for extending: Clay had no need to extend there and wasn't trying to: he was just falling forward as guys tend to do when their momentum is carrying them that way. And in the act of falling he lost the ball, just like James did.

Butler and Gilmore both playing at a very even level, just as we all hoped. Unfortunately it's not a high one.

Also I love McCourty but the way he tepidly played McCoy on that swing pass earlier in the drive pissed me off.

Dunno why that wasn't a TD but whatever. Let the dopes say PATS GET CALLS IN THEIR FAVOR. All I know is this team looks a bit... choppy still.
I said the same thing about Dmac...wtf was that!?

Forget the overturned call, the Poyer Pick Six is the difference in the game. Buffalo played a flawless half. I don’t think that will last.

Looked out of bounds in real time to me. I don’t understand the outrage, other than it was a borderline call. By the time he controlled the ball he didn’t get the second foot down. Just my opinion.
I get both sides. I'm happy with call.

Romo and Nantz at the very least immediately brought up the control aspect of it. The bozos in the studio literally have no idea what the rules are.
Yes....when You really look at it… It’s pretty clear that he did not have control when either the 1st foot came down… And definitely not when the 2nd foot came down… Great call

Getting outplayed by buffalo at home...D needs 3 and outs.and turnovers if we want to win this game.. They're moving it too easily ,and once again brady is less than sharp... This teams margin for error is razor this w all their injuries and we can't ****ing afford avocado ice cream man throwing pick sixes and half his passes at receivers feet
I’ve never understood why people overlook the divisional games. In this case, not having Hogan, White, or Burkhead is limiting their passing options. Have to pound the rock.

I think they made the right call overturning the Benjamin TD as his left toe wasn’t on the ground when he was securing ball. I’m also stunned they overturned it because I don’t think that it was “indisputably” not a TD. It was a great almost catch by him.

But if Buffalo wants to be mad about something they should be mad about Clay dropping the way easier TD on the play before.

I was too upset to say it at the time, but I stepped away from the TV when the pick 6 happened. All I heard was "Hoyer with the pick 6!!" A statement spoken so many times in the past. (It was #21 Poyer).

It's going to be really fun listening to the national media spend the next week harping on the Benjamin call and claiming the refs play favorites, when the Bills were gifted three points by those same refs missing one of the most obvious OPIs you'll ever see a minute and a half earlier.

a couple of half time thoguhts

1. The play that pissed me off the most was the 3rd and 11 with 150 left on the Bills' 35. THAT is the one the Pats need to get off the field on. 3rd and 1-4 are all in the offense's favor. But long than that it's on the defensive side. That ended up being a 10 point swing.

2. I think that was a catch. Pats fans would have gone nuts if the call had gone against them. I know I would have.

3. Remember the Pats D has still only allowed 6 points in the half, and they aren't playing all that well.

4. That being said, Malcom Brown looks like he's taking his game to a new level.

5. I'd say its been a perfect quarter for the Bills. = They had an 8 minute scoring drive - check. Stopped the Pats twice in the red zone - check - Defensive score - check Score to end the half and get the ball to start the 2nd - check. IN fact the ONLY good thing about that half for the Pats is that they are tied on the score board

This rule is definitely getting tweaked this offseason

tell me what rule would have changed that? he simply did not get two feet down with control of the ball......you want a catch as soon as it hits the hands?

Forget the overturned call, the Poyer Pick Six is the difference in the game. Buffalo played a flawless half. I don’t think that will last.
Pats played a flaw filled half. I’m trying to convince myself that won’t continue
