Game Day Thread Official Game Day Thread Week 7 Pats @ Bears

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

Hoping to continue our win streak today and get to 5-2 with the Bills next week. Our offense has played really well the past few weeks.

Go Pats!!!!

Let's discuss.

Patriots inactives: TE Rob Gronkowski TE Jacob Hollister OT Marcus Cannon OL Brian Schwenke DE Keionta Davis DE Geneo Grissom DE John Simon

Nice to see Gordon and Edleman active

Didn't realize this was our chance to get our first road win.

Croston is apparently the backup OT.

Sunday afternoon + an OP by Ashley = Patriots happy dance time!!!

Surprised that Hollister is out. Must be a heavy WR game plan.

Malcom Brown (knee) is back after a one-week absence. Ted Karras is active over Brian Schwenke for the first time since Week 3. Cole Croston is in for Cannon after being a healthy scratch the previous 4 weeks. J.C. Jackson is back after being a healthy scratch last week.

Something to file away for later: Stephen Gostkowski finishes his pre-game kicking workout, and while he usually takes his final attempt from 53 yards, he capped it off with a 48-yard attempt after possibly not hitting the 53-yard attempt as true as he would have liked.

How will the weather effect the kicking game ? Could be a big factor if the game is close

Great to see brown back, hope hes 100% and not being rushed back. Wonder if rivers will get any actual action this week with both davis and simon inactive again.

Hamstring again. Well, I'm not sure that it's the same one that kept him out of week-1, but still. Hoping it's not becoming a chronic issue.
