It is crazy how receivers like Hopkins, Gordon or Green make their QBs look so much better. Makes you realize that there really is another tier between them and players like Cooks. And Cooks himself is already a pretty special player..

I think the main difference between the Patriots offense and a lot of other ones is those offenses can't seem to audible out of a bad look.

I think the main difference between the Patriots offense and a lot of other ones is those offenses can't seem to audible out of a bad look.

I am not even sure some of those QBs can read it presnap well enough to realize the bad matchup. I mean McVay is essentially doing this job for his QB.

Based on his contract, Derek Carr might be the most overrated and overpaid player in the league today.

Interesting stats. SF has scored 17PPG before JAG started (it is fair to point out he scored 7 on the last drive of one of those games.

In the games he has played SF has scored 15 point and right now they have 16. You would think good QB play would bump them up 4-5 PPG. If guys like Brady/Rodgers are considered with 7/8 above replacement level (which is what SF had at QB you would think JAG would at least be worth 4 points above replacement level if he is as good as we think and a legit franchise guy.

I'm sure SF will score more before they are done today. Just the number I had in my head.

Yes... their top WR for the game has more yards than their top QB for the game. Talk about being carried.
