Personally I LIKE the way a catch is being called now. It should have to be complete control throughout the process and to the ground. There have been so many rules changes to help the offense that I like a catch isn't as easy as it was in year past. You need some rules to give the defense a chance.

Personally I would go a bit crazy and make players actually touch the ball down in the endzone for the score to count. No more of those cheap throws where players stretch out, catch the ball out of bounds but are considered inbounds because of their toes staying in.

Also no more of this breaking the plane ********.. you gotta touch the endzone with the ball for it to count.

It will never happen and might be a worse experience because of something that I didnt consider but at least scores would be actually touchdowns.

It is crazy how receivers like Hopkins, Gordon or Green make their QBs look so much better. Makes you realize that there really is another tier between them and players like Cooks. And Cooks himself is already a pretty special player..
