I would rewrite that as, Jags have a SB quality defense but both currently have subpar QBs........( since Watson's injury). Before Watt' and MErcelus injuries, Texans had a SB quality defense.

If the Jags had Jared Goff, just to use one example, or a healthy Watson, they’d be our primary competition in the AFC and would be an extremely tough out. That’s a very talented football team at most positions outside of the one that counts the most.
