He played in 14 games last year and has been on IR so far this year. How is he trending anywhere ? Is he trending the wrong direction because he didnt play a game this year ? Like Edelman ?

Totally agree. Just look at Edelman. If a player deals with injuries early in his career, it's best to move on.

The past 2 SBs we won, we had in Lafell and Mitchell similar skill sets and physical presence, keep that in mind, in Brady’s tool kit that kind of receiver that is neither a deep threat nor a slot receiver he can use just as well as he uses the slot guys and 3rd down RB.

Erik, I asked Bill Belichick this question last week, and he didn't rule it out. The latest information I had on Mitchell's status came from someone close to him, who said on Wednesday that he is "going week by week, but not this week." I was told Mitchell, who initially landed on injured reserve because of his knee, recently started running again. This has easily been the most frequent question of the last week, as the team's depth at receiver is being tested after Chris Hoganinjured his right shoulder in last Sunday's win over the Chargers. Hogan is expected to make a full recovery this season, but it might take some time, and so the team might need to turn elsewhere.

I like @dafoe2016 and I think his posts can be interesting. In this case, though, I'd have to echo the majority. Any 4th rounder who contributes to a championship is far from a bust. I still like the Stork selection. After his return to the lineup in 2014 after early injury problems, the line gelled. And Stork was on the field for the Seahawks game, as well as much of the playoffs. He was never the same, but that is another example of a 4th rounder who was not a wasted pick.
