Do believe that was (part of) the plan all along or at least w opp. to get Harris (even before Ninko bye).

They played Freeny and Grissom a lot vs JAX there . not the same cloth though . but might make the team and play so something to monitor.

KVN is showing good versatility also improving in coverage can help HT rushing.. also acc. to Chatham

I'm not sure there is a scheme plan in acquiring players like Harris, Van Noy, Ayers, etc. I think BB sees them as quality players and grabs them, then works out the roles and schemes from there.
I don't think he ever gets player A to move player B to a different role, but that he looks at player A and B and redefines the roles.

That said, yes, Harris being here should allow BB to use HT more in that role, and my instinct is he has always wanted to but values his versatility more than his best individual role.

Go Bates go! He's a hell of a story. Walk on at UMaine and was a real good player for us and we were all pretty surprised he got drafted even though thought he had a shot at the NFL and then was cut from the Colts and was on the sidelines at Black Bear games for a few weeks before Bill picked him up and now he's a champ. Would be awesome if he makes the team. Everyone says he's a great kid.

Hogan might be a top 5 deep threat in the NFL. I'll just go ahead and say it. He's tall, strong, very fast, gets great separation. Man buffalo really misused him.

Reading BSJ. Bedard had some positive notes on him.

A couple of sacks one of which included "blowing up" the pass protecting RB and later defended a pass intended for a TE. Btw: First team reps.
