Since WR trade is clearly the topic of the day . some complementary news from Arizona..

“I must’ve been seeing things back in the spring when I said we had had 12 guys who could play in the NFL,” Arians said after practice Monday. “We might have two.”

While BB is demanding and wouldn't accept substandard performance from a position group, I don't think we would ever see him call out his players in public like that.

Not a technique I would recommend.

If Tablib didn't sprain his vagina in 2012, I think that team goes to the Super Bowl with or without Gronk.

Doubt it, we needed Gronk, we only scored 13 against BAL in the '12 AFCCG, and the Welker drops didn't help either, and we didn't score a single point in the 2nd half

Agreed, we had no business winning that game.

We were up 13-7 at half. Then downtown flacco tore us up in the second half. With Talib and Gronk maybe we hold that lead.

Thank god we came back and won that 2014 game. I couldn't handle 3 home playoff losses to flacco. Epic comeback victory in 2014, made up for 2012

It was a weird game in the elements, strong wind, BB decided to punt in Baltimore territory twice if I recall correctly.

The team seemed apathetic, from my memories the only player playing with energy trying to do something was the serial killer, his last game in a Patriot uniform as well.

The dropped 3rd down conversion by WW in the 3rd qtr was a killer.

After that, without Talib Boldin roasted the secondary and every Pats drive stalled (Gronk)

That Ravens team was good but a healthy Pats team was better.

It is what it is.

The Patriots likely put Talib on Boldin in the second half of that game and severely limit what he was able to do. More stops on defense = more possessions on offense. The Patriots went into halftime with the lead and were shutting Baltimore down. Talib leaving the game changed everything. Baltimore had their way with the Pats down the seam.

re WW. IIRC he got hit hard a play or two prior to that drop. Again, IIRC, I was wondering at the time if had gotten dinged or concussed.

I'll have to go back and look unless you tell me I'm not insane.

Wow! We have the deepest, most experienced, most decorated WR group in the NFL with 4 guys who are locked in with Brady and the 5th a top NFL burner who seems to also fit in... Plus some nice up and coming guys, and some Gronk guy who can catch passes, and you trumpet this Madden Juvenile crap about a 33 year old receiver with a 15 million dollar cap hit.

I would normally tell you what an idiot you are but I am trying to be a nicer, more mellow Bruins so this time I wont tell you what an idiot you are.

I think he was making a joke about all the people on these boards wanting to trade for him - that is the way I took it.

Just one thing to think about that. It was really really windy that game and Kubiak was calling run, run, pass most of the 1st half and Flacco was getting frustrated with that. Pats weren't afraid of the wind with Brady throwing that deep ball to Welker in the 1st or 2nd drive. Too bad he didn't catch that either.

He could have been hit. I don't remember.

Hit or no hit he should have caught this ball. Hell it was easier than the one in the SB.

That game surprised me as I felt very confident the Pats would win at home. Was totally shocked that they came out so flat.

Funny how talib only gets hurt when he plays for us or shoots himself.

He was more concerned with getting to his big payday than he was with helping the team win in 2012 and 2013. He DEFINITELY could have come back in during the 2013 AFCCG. Dennard was even pleading with him to do so. But he didn't want to risk actual injury and losing out on millions.
