I would think it would be more about his ability (or lack thereof) to fully comprehend and run the offense, versus sailing some balls, but that's obviously up to the experts to decide.Premature ejaculation of young draft pick.
He had some decent days in camp. His bad day came in this game as he sailed several completable passes a yard or more over his targets.
It would take consistent suckage to make a garbage FA QB worth the cap hit and roster space to replace him, not that we couldn't easily absorb the cap hit if needed.
We know that he couldn't even run a small portion of the offense effectively last year, but also understood that was likely due to a learning curve. If he's not improving in that aspect, I'd be much more concerned about that issue.
