Even IT was trying to be the hero and giving up turn overs. Instead of trying to set up some scores to stop the bleeding he is just driving into traffic. This is the inconsistent Celtics.. its what they are. But honestly never .. I can't remember a team going on a 26-0 run with out a time out being called. I have never seen a team just fall apart like that in a 4 minute span.. very rarely do you see an NBA game lost in a couple of minutes in the 3rd quarter. Marcus Smart makes me want to pull my hair out watching him.

Suck all around.
I just wish John Wall would stop pointing at himself and saying "me" like a toddler 1000 times a game.
Celtics are still a Super Star and an All Star away from contention.
If only they had paid an All Star 113 million in the offseason. Another swing and miss by Danny. I'm willing to give him somewhat of a pass because I honestly believe Durant led him to believe that signing Horford would get a deal done. But without getting into all his horrific decisions, in the last two draft he has drafted Marcus Smart (not an NBA caliber player) at 6 and Jaylen Brown (who's ceiling is probably solid defensive player who contributes 10-12 ppg off the bench) at 3. This is made even more disturbing by his putrid draft record in general. If he doesn't turn one of those two remaining Brooklyn picks into a legitimate All Star I don't think we can afford to continue this Danny experiment. Take IT (which was more luck than anything) off this team and they are a 25-30 win team at best.

I'm also sick of seeing Marcus Smart. He can be a good defensive contributor but he is hot garbage on offense and it drags us down when he is out there. Disastrous shooter and a sloppy player overall.I can't take anyone seriously as a good coach let alone a great one, that stubbornly insists on continuing to play Marcus Smart 40 minutes a game. He played himself out of the rotation a loooong time ago. Constant bad decisions, comically unforced turnovers and a never ending barrage of jump shots he has no chance of making an no business taking. This kid belongs in the NBA like Tim Tebow belonged in the NFL. One of my least favorite athletes of all time. This is an 8-10 minutes a game player. If that. I would have brought up Jackson towards the end of the season to see what he could do against NBA talent before I would play Smart. This kid will NEVER develop into NBA talent outside of the following scenario. A real coach gets a hold of him on a contender and uses him as a spot player to pester the other team defensively, but makes it clear that he is not to take jump shots with more than 4 seconds left on the shot clock. Defensive specialist only. And even then, he's not that great a defensive player that it makes up for his other flaws. It's not like he's Bruce Bowen. Or even Avery Bradley. We are a better team when this irrationally confident idiot is not on the court. This kid makes Rondo look like Jordan offensively. HATE him.
Crowder has good games here and there but god he blows in games such as tonight. I think they are all expendable aside from IT/Horford/Rozier/Brown. Even Avery Bradley I'm hesitant to pay at this point. Is it true that Ainge would't include Crowder in a trade for Carmelo? Bad move if so. Crowder is trash, would take Carmelo over him every day of the week.
