That was a penalty but so is the trip that the refs let go before which I thought was just as blatant.Had to call that particular penalty but i hate for an OT elimination game to be decided on a power play.
Pasternak has been absolute schitt all series... Stupid penalty, send his azz back to ****ing Czechoslovakia ****ing Euro suck azz...dipshit only hit target on like 3 shots all series... Trade him for a bag of pucks
When it was happening I was pissed at the Ottawa player for getting in the way, and then when he fell down, I thought for sure they would just let it go especially after the no call down the other end. Also, WTF happened down the other end when Marchand was steered into Anderson and then he tripped Marchand. What was the call for stopping play? That was never explained on the broadcast. It wasn't really a penalty. He was trying to get to Karlsson, and jack wagon got in his way. Interference. Then he took a dive backwards when he felt Pastas hand on his shoulder.
there was no reason to stop play... Anderson flopped..just like he did in the goal that was waved off last game in OTWhen it was happening I was pissed at the Ottawa player for getting in the way, and then when he fell down, I thought for sure they would just let it go especially after the no call down the other end. I mostly agree but I think the trip called on the Bruins was a bit more blatant

Why the F*** did they blow the whistle? What was the official reason? Inadvertent whistle? What happened was Marchand got pushed into the goalie a bit. Anderson fell a bit then saw Bergeron coming in on the puck with a wide open net. So he tripped Marchand and the corrupt official blew the whistle.
Should have been a penalty on Anderson as he tripped Marchand outside of the crease. If that had been Rask, no whistle and the pick ends up in the back of the net.
They didn't say anything because there was only one this to say. They spun it as if it was partly Marchands fault but it wasn't. He was pushed which drew initial contact, then Anderson flopped and deliberately tripled him.
