I've always wanted to visit.I love Nashville.
Nah, I don't think so. Chung came back because Philly was a miserable experience and he struggled mightily. No one was really interested. I think it will be worlds different with Ryan.He strikes me as a guy who might be return to the Pats a la Patrick Chung
So somebody disagrees with your opinion and your response is to viciously attack them in a tantrum. It's obvious which of you is less likely to have ever had "friends or any semblance of a relationship with anyone". There is definitely something wrong with you.
I like that he is a dog lover. And I like his pick vs Houston.
I'm not even a country music guy (wife is but I'm OK with it) and it's a great time.I've always wanted to visit.
Because BB thinks Gilmore is much better than Ryan and better than Malcolm.Isn't his deal less money than we pay Gilmore the next couple seasons? Why didn't we keep Ryan and spend some cash on Butlers long term contract?
I'm not either. Lol. There's just an allure with that place, country music can or not, I guess.I'm not even a country music guy (wife is but I'm OK with it) and it's a great time.
OT: Pictures like this one make me wish I went into sports photography.Gonna miss him. Especially the times when he shut down Demaryius Thomas...
Good tackler and improved every year. Titans secondary with JMAC is gonna be good. Good luck!

Yep. And his pick against Sanders was pretty sweet too.
I haven't really thought of cornerbacks in terms of #1, #2 and #3 (as some sort of "proficiency/importance ranking") in a long time. With the Nickel being the default package now, teams need three good corners, each with a different - but equally critical - primary role ...
- Left boundary
- Right boundary (which not all "good" corners can manage well)
- Slot
... and all of them need to be able to "play the field" and/or trade roles, and/or to follow specific receivers on occasion.
I thought Ryan had become a very good slot guy who could also cover the right boundary fairly well. While not elite there, Ryan still might be an upgrade at RCB for a lot of teams (IDK how the Titans are planning on using him).
Ryan was very sharp and disciplined about edge-contain against the run, and a pretty good tackler [EDIT: I forgot - Ryan was also the Pats' leading tackler in 2016 with 74 solo and 18 assists.]. He was also known for his studiousness and work ethic. I don't know of a lot of guys in the league who are significantly better at the slot role than Ryan was, at least in 2016, and $10m APY doesn't seem like an exorbitant amount to pay to keep him (in this market, anyway).
Given the relatively low cost and the relatively large amount of cap space that the Pats have, it seems unlikely to me that BB would have allowed Ryan to walk unless he thinks he has an adequate replacement already on the roster.
So, the possibilities for 2017 for covering slot duties (where significant agility seems to be required) include ...
Coleman: 5110/190 ... 3.98 shuttle ... 6.61 3cone
- played 22.7 defensive snaps per game in 10 games active (only 6.5 on ST)
Cy Jones: 5090/200 ... 4.21 ... 6.71
- 14.7 defensive snaps/GA in 1o games active (5.1 ST)
Jon Jones: 5100/190 ... 4.25 ... 7.25
- only 4.0 defensive snaps/game in 16 games (19.2 ST, 4th highest on team)
For reference ...
Rowe: 6010/205 ... 3.97 ... 6.70
- at least appears to have the chops to occasionally drop down to cover a big receiver out of the slot, but someone else would then need to be able to handle the right boundary for those plays.
Butler: 5096/190 ... 4.27 ... 7.20
Ryan: 5110/191 ... 4.06 ... 6.69
Ouch. That wasn't directed at me and I still felt it.Like to I need to explain what is going to to a nobody like you.
