I feel like this year he and the team finally figured it out, and he played his best and was a big reason we shut down those great WRs in the postseason. He took a lot of grief from this board in the years prior to that but redeemed himself in 2016.
That said I don't think it made sense for the Pats to give him 10m. Our CB situation is complicated enough. Would love to keep Butler in house one more year and start grooming his successor because I doubt he comes back in 2018 if he isn't traded before then.
