When's the last time the Pats drafted a linebacker that size? Certainly not in the first round anyway.

Bear in mind that they were showing real interest in Su'a Cravens last year.

But he could cover. Foster is really a linebacker in coverage. Has movement skills, but isn't natural in space like Cravens was.

I'm talking more generally about linebackers. Just saying that I wouldn't rule out a hybrid player and that size isn't necessarily the be all and end all. I agree Foster's size is not a Patriot's fit.

What/whom should I be excited about?

Everyone!

Depends. Which positions are you interested in watching? This draft has incredible depth, as well as a few potential superstars. Tomorrow will probably be better. Ask a more specific question, and I'll give you a list.

I am all for a Cravens type role, just don't think they jump that early. I also prefer the safety in to a backer role, opposed to the opposite.

It's why I love Melifonwu and Johnson and Harvey-Clemons. Those guys are going to be able to cause some havoc in the middle of the field.

Also Dont'a Foreman isn't working out (sorry @I.M. Fletcher )

Really too bad for him. Came in a lot lighter, so I was hoping to see him pop.

Also, he got nicked up a lot this year. These are just little things, but they stick in the back of my head.

Cook at 4.5 should put to rest the Chris Johnson comparisons. He's a nice player, but people were going crazy with the 4.3 or better predictions.

Gallman at only 4.57, but I still like him as one of my top 3 backs for the Patriots. He's just so physical and tough. I'll take him here anyday.

honestly I have no idea.

Jamaal Williams right about in line with what I expected. Not the best top end speed, but I love his vision and physicality.

Personally, there are so many useless "competitions" at the combine but the bench press might be among the worst. Each of those kids will be subject to a normal NFL strength and conditioning program upon arrival at their team.

What is this testing ? How much time RBs spend in the weight room ? Personally, I am mostly only interested in body/arm/hand sizes and then the tests that measure explosiveness.
I've heard it is exactly that. how much time in the weight room...
