2017 NFL Combine Thread

Since the Combine is actually going on the main forum seems like a good place for this thread. I have been able to watch a little of it and I really like the athletic ability of the OL that have been working out. I won't be surprised to see them use another high pick on OL in this coming draft. Garret Boles has looked really good and another prospect whose parents are both sprinters actually ran a 4.76 in the forty, he looked like a 300 lb. sprinter, but I'm spacing on his name.

I thought he would test out with short arms, just didn't think they would be that bad.

Good. I think he needs to add some weight and be a rotational 3- or 5-tech guy. He tries to play too much like a rush OLB, but with his frame he needs to develop into a power player with superior quickness.

Manx the last few years you had GA Tech guy, as a one of your blinkys. This year there is a WR from Air Force , big strong kid with huge wingspan/hands but raw... ( Smelter 2.0? )
He may need a redshirt year, but who doesnt get that in Patriots?

Yep, try and be the next Tommy Kelly. Quickness to hold up on the edge, but will make his money inside.

He's more robotic than Smelter, but same scheme, same body type, same enormous hands. I think you'll like him late. I just wish he had some more fluidity to his game.

I did a quick review of him. He is just a straight go receiver at this point, since Air Force offense is even more ridiculous than GT is.

He was one of the prospects that came out saying he would love to play for BB because of his respect for the military, so who knows.

Has the physical skills for sure, just no football skills yet.

I still think he's going top 12. Lots of reasons for him not to, but tackles don't drop in drafts, in any year. If Ram's hip is bad, I am looking at Carolina and the Chargers.

Chargers are the most clear spot for a tackle to go, just depends if they can finally pull the trigger. They have no one to protect their only star player, who is also mid 30s already.

Bolles had a 9-7 broad jump which is better than Nate Solders'. Garcia had 9' dead.
