Obviously the first 3 were huge as that established the dynasty, Then came the quest for 4 to tie Montana and cement Brady as the GOAT for most. Also on the heels of deflategate and the first win since spygate it was a huge win for the franchise and legacy. #5 gave that separation with Brady/BB and the franchise. This is now the best dynasty in football history (SB appearances are the tie breaker). BB has 5 and Brady has 5. Now both stand alone.

So i say this in no way trying to come across as i don't want #6 but how important do you think is it? Is anything really left to prove or achieve. Sure it be fun to chase the Steelers who have 6 rings and tie them or just maybe some crazy way end with 7 (I will worry about getting in position to get 6 first).

However they don't seem as important miles stones as the 4th and 5th were at least to me. Again I am not saying I don't care about #6 cause I damn well do but are the story lines running out here?

Personally I think if we do get #6 then #7 is a much better story line.

As far as I'm concerned, this is the game that puts Tom and Bill in the pro football* firmament forever and always. Anything else is gravy, and I'm glad of that because I can enjoy it without any pressure ever again :D

* I refuse to sully my post with the league name.

I wish them to continue to define a new paradigm of success until they decide to call it quits. Once it is all said and done, we will be much better able to understand the significance of each achievement and realize that the whole is greater than a sum of it's parts. Each record, each win and each trophy this team wins creates a new paradigm of success that has never before been seen. Relish it while it's here. There will be plenty of time to reflect when it is gone.

From a legacy perspective, it means nothing. If they hadn't already cemented their legacy 2 years ago as the greatest QB and coach of their era and possibly ever, they did so last night. And from a franchise perspective, at the 5 level you've got the Steelers, 49ers, Cowboys, and Patriots. You can't get any more elite than that.

From a competitive standpoint, it's very important to each of them. If it wasn't, they would retire.

The only thing they could possibly add is a Super Bowl win over the Giants.

I honestly can't think of anything else there is for them.

Not that it will slow them down.

If Brady can win #6......Hes in Michael Jordan company. Id argue he already is as to win a title is MUCH harder in the NFL.

He's already in Jordan company. It's harder in the NFL because individuals have much less influence on the outcome of a game. In NBA Jordan is one of five, playing offense and defense all the time. Brady is one of 11, on the field half the time at best.

Ultimately it is silly to compare them, though, so ... we really shouldn't even try.

I think you struck something. Yeah. That is what I want. Give us 1 more crack at the Giants! If there is anything left to cross off the list there is that at least.

Of course winning 6 to tie Pitt be great in itself. I hope we go through Pitt to do it too.

Yea but its fun and today is a day to have fun....:p

Considering there is virtually nothing left to debate anymore, greatest coach ever, greates quaterbacks and football player at the same time, greatest franchise, I don't really care!

It's all

at this point. Quite frankly, who gives a crap. Anyone that questions it is either a true hater, really dumb or more than likely both. 6, 7, 8, 9 Keep 'em coming. This NEVER gets old.

We want 6? I want 7.
