Grigson gone.

It was inevitable. After all...

...how many clowns can you fit in one car?

So one fell out?

It seems to me that it's a fair criticism to say the Colts have never put enough good players around him. They have tended to spend more $$ on the defense and, in general, made a lot of poor draft and free agent choices.

The fan in me would like to see Luck on a good team, but I'm OK with the Colts sucking for all time!

You things things like the Colts' disfunction, and you just have to shake your head when you realize there are people out there who genuinely believe the only reason the Pats win is through cheating.

Very sad when anybody gets the ax.

I can not understand why teams like San Fran and now Indy are not looking at pioli as a GM.

He has done a tremendous job in Atlanta this year.

Indy needs to get what they deserve. More Peyton. If he is GM, he might find it Hard to draft players when he is cutting all those bad papa johns commercials.

Cause there's been reports Irsay has been talking to Peyton Manning about being the GM, maybe he's agreed to it or maybe Irsay just had a night off the booze and pills and seen the last 5 years of drafts and finally came to his senses

They'll need to have a fall guy in place. Maybe a bunch of them.

I honestly wonder if Irsay is like the Millionaire character in Charlie Chaplin's "City Light", making one set of decisions while drunk and the opposite decisions while sober.
Or is he like George Costanza, who discovered that things only went well when he acted against all of his instincts.

A very sad day indeed.

A truly great organization, with the most honorable owner in pro sports history, has terminated arguably the greatest gm in pro sports history.

Now I'm just too upset to watch the game tonight. Think I'll go light a candle and have a good cry.

And so he deserves karmic retribution?
Whatever.
We all engage in hyperbole out here to make a point from time to time.

But, to answer the implied question, no, I don't like Luck and, yes, I do think that Luck is overrated and, no, I don't think he will live up to what were probably elevated expectations.
Also, I didn't ever like Grigson and I detest Irsay, so it won't bother me if they have to look for another QB after "sucking for Luck."

You're free to disagree but don't have to bother.
