If it was the Rooney rule we would merely be hearing about interviews. The reports are that teams love him.
You're right. Joseph has clearly distinguished himself as an outstanding coach in this league. The interviews and reported "interest" definitely have nothing to do whatsoever with the Rooney Rule.
Did you intentionally misread my post? I think he'll be a terrible coach.
If there was anything in your post indicating that you believed that, it would have been me misreading it. You seemed to think the Rooney Rule had nothing to do with it. If that's the case, then teams would believe that he's distinguished himself as a coach if those reports are true. I don't think he has. Most of the Dolphin fans I know agree with me.
Maybe you can somehow be punished for making a mockery of the Rooney rule now. Could see one team arbitrarily getting nailed hard. Seems like legit interest though and I would hope it's real and not just a Rooney rule thing ...I can't believe Vrabel has serious interest without being a coordinator let alone one unimpressive season as a DC.Based on "league buzz" from "insiders" (very dubious sources, of course), teams aren't interviewing him because they have to, but because they want to. He's one of the "hottest" candidates on the market. Teams clearly love the guy, or his agent is leaking tons of false info.
Why do they (allegedly) love him? I have no idea. Even Dolphins fans want him gone, as you've said.
take a chill pill Lucille, teams around the NFL seem to like him and its not just because hes black. If there was anything in your post indicating that you believed that, it would have been me misreading it. Sf I could see because he was there a long time so if he is one of those guys who is the kind of leader tha does better as a HC ownership should know. Not sure about that... they let him leave, and he's headed to SD today and SF on Friday.
Report: Broncos to let Joseph leave without a deal

Only if the teams they interviewed with choose someone else.Probably because Matt Patricia and JM are staying put this year. So the head coaching choices are slim.
I googled Anthony Lynn for the same reason. This was in one of the articles.I'm chill. I just don't see any evidence that "teams seem to like him" as I haven't seen him get hired yet. Further, if there is truth to it, I'm wondering why they like him if it doesn't have anything to do with the Rooney Rule. Perhaps you could help me out on that one? Give me a reason why if it's not that.
Lynn also has the distinction of having lived through being hit by a car and sent 50 feet in the air, so you know the guy has a shamrock over his head as far as luck. He will undoubtedly bring that luck and success wherever he lands in the NFL.
