Raiders @ Texans Playoff Thread

Jags need to bring in an offensive coach. I think Bortles has the tools, he needs coaching, which was just flatout awful. I dont think hes been bad enough to give up on after only 3 years. Depends on what the future staff thinks ultimately though, And right now yes the afc south is porbably a better spot, Especially because The chiefs and raiders should probably be good, and the chargers are probably a just a coach away too

Bortles's issue is his attitude. He had bad mechanics in the first few seasons until he worked out with Tom House 2 years ago in the offseason. This was followed by a pretty good season and him thinking that he has made it and doesn't need to work on those mechanics which resulted in a historic regression and maybe the worst throwing motion/release in the NFL since Tebow...

He held his own team hostage over this situation which is a pretty good reason for the Jags to get another QB this offseason because you can't have one player screwing your entire season over twice in a row.

He showed he has it in him but his attitude is key..

That was a great kick and coverage. They really needed to get a great return though.

Oakland should score here by mistake almost. Accidental offense is a real thing.

Texans are allowing Oakland to hang around.....Oakland needs to capitalize

6 drives, 23 yards combined for the Raiders. LOL

There is a couple that I am good friends with that are both big Raiders fans, I often watch games with. Until two weeks ago they were, for good reason, very excited about this season.

I purposely avoided watching the game with them today, in case it turned out like it has thus far.

Closest analogy I can think of is Pats in 2009, except that New England team before the Welker injury was nowhere near as good as Oakland was before the Carr injury. I guess it's probably more on par with the '78 Patriots with the Fairbanks-Sullivan fiasco heading into the playoffs.
It all come down to coaching. If you're down to the 3D string QB who to do trust more?

Roberts open.

Bad drop

Just dropped it.

Gruden needs to stop talking !!!

Cooper is absolutely wasted (even when Carr was in there) in this offense.

Has a team had this bad a case of the dropsies ever? I've never seen a team drop so many passes ever.

Am I watching a preseason game?
