Raiders @ Texans Playoff Thread

This game is so dull that I fell asleep in the 1st quarter. Did I miss anything good?

Gruden's astute commentary.

Have you seen Clowney play today? Put JJ Watt on the other side and that's definitely a scary D-line
I dunno
Clooney epitomizes the "woulda coulda shoulda"

I was just pointing out that Osweiler doesn't always play well against us.
He has played 2 times against us I think ? and won once. Not really a big sample size.

That was bad.

I don't agree. A Texans team with Watt means they can get pressure with 3 or 4 which is Brady's kryptonite. Glad he's on IR....

I see your point but I think that Houston simply wouldn't be good enough on offense that they'll be a true threat to the nr. 1 D in the league. BB made a great game plan with Brisett and he'd do the same again. Gronk would make this offense even better in the passing/running game and nearly unstoppable

romeo has that defense going. this is very good group. You put a luck or mariotta in texans , they are a suddenly a well rounded team.

Hopefully Clowney wouldn't turn Solder into a turnstile.

He has made 2 good throws so far. The one seam pass to CJF, he gets half a point on that deep shot to Nuk and another half a point for the TD throw even though that last one was pretty easy.

All of this against the Raiders...

My point is he hasnt been bad, I certainly wouldnt say hes been great, but hes taking what the defense is giving him.

could you imagine being a Raiders fan, waiting 15 years for....this

Raider fans are probably having bad flashbacks and the Texans uniforms have morphed into Tampa jerseys...

But the Patriots haven't faced the Raiders yet and they are NEW and SCARYYYYYYYYY.

Texans vs pats will be interesting. I trust romeo to have a good game plan and BOB to make some adjustments with osweiler playing better.

I still think the Texans would be a good place for Romo. I am not sure if there is any rivalry between the Cowboys and the Texans but he would come into a team with a pretty good defense, continue playing a dome AND be in a crap division that almost guarantees postseason play.

In my opinion you put luck on their and you got a superbowl contender, With a guy like Alex smith who isnt going to lose you a game they are like are certainly better, Theres a lot of guys that you could have led them to a first round bye

Anyone who wants Miami to win tmw is a fool..

Sometimes, you need to see it with your eyes. I would have maybe made the case for "getting rid of Pitt" yesterday, but after watching whatever this is - I'm fine with playing the team that gets more points here (can't bring myself to call either a winner).

The way Solder is playing i am not worried. We talk a lot about Cannon here but Solder has had maybe his best season this year.

That division could be on the upswing very very fast. Jaguars are a coach away, And Tennessee has an offense which could be tops in the league next year. They need help on defense

Oakland's D needs to do something
