Since they play Friday the 17th, I am guessing Monday the 20th. That will give him a full week's preparation for the only real meaningful game of the preseason, the third one. I still think he would be used sparingly if at all in that game. That will give him two preseason games and three weeks to prepare for the season. Since the team approaches the third preseason game like a real game, there will be no more two a days. I still think that is the biggest reason he hasn't reported yet.

Did I say Monday the 20th? I meant the 27th. I must have hit the wrong key since the 7 and the 0 are right next to each other.

Granted my keys may be screwy. I'll have to check back on next Tuesday and see if I did type in Tuesday September 4th correctly in my original post.

I agree with what they said in the pre-game show on WBCN last week with Gresh and Zo. Right now it doesn't hurt him much because he's only losing pre-season salary of about $1500 a week (I could only dream of that).
Once the season starts, It'll hit him. $8 million is alot to turn your nose up at.

That is correct and we will have to wait to see which date that is before someone can get snug. But it does look like it going to happen. Maybe my 8/26 is still alive.

It's looking good for you. And, I will be the happiest I've ever been to be wrong when he signs the deal (I had "Never" in the contest, anticipating a Branch-like trade at the beginning of the season.).
