Victor Cruz: Pats want NO PARTS of NYG if we (both) were to make SB LI

It would hard to be upset about 5 rings though.

Yea your right and against the Giants it would be pretty sweet, get back at Goodell and the NYJFL and the world by winning a 5th ring and Brady breaking the record for most Super Bowl wins by a QB on top of beating the Giants in the Super Bowl, I think that would beat out the Butler pick imo and maybe even SB36

Remember when Brady snorted at the idea that we'd be held to 2 TDs by the Giants in 2007?

Same thing, different team.

Price is playing pretty loose with his headline based on what Cruz' quote said.

The only reason any team might fear the Giants is because of their fluke luck. Not because of the players (Eli Manning? right...), not because of the coaching, and certainly not because they are a good team.

I'd sign up for Pats vs Giants part 3 tomorrow if you guaranteed me the Pats were making the Super Bowl.

History means nothing when it comes to big playoff games, the narrative was Peyton Manning could never beat Tom Brady in big games then he beat him in the AFC Championship 3 times in a row, it's all down to which team performs better on the day.

The Giants won 2 close games that could of gone either way, the Pats won a close game that could of gone either way last year.

I'm not scared of the Giants because of 2 games.

The 2007 Giants played great, not taking anything away from them. The 2011 pats were lucky to get to the SB - basically carried by Brady.

After reading Cruz' comments, I am rooting for the giants to get to the SB and play the pats. I want it to happen.

I would absolutely love a shot at ring number 5 v the Giants.

Jesus h ****ing christ but the amount of chicken little ***** boy cry baby horseshite coming off this forum in the past few weeks has been beyond sickening.
Yeah, theres history. Yeah we've been burnt in the past. But give B&B a 50/50 chance at another ring and I'm ecstatic.

What Cruz is trying to say is, they cheat! So they expect to win.

What Cruz doesn't realize is, the NYJFL* has been trying to cheat the Patriots for over a decade. He will be sorely disappointed if the Pats and Cheating Giants are expected to meet in Super Bowl LI.

I'm already sick of Jints talk and reliving the two fluke losses................Can you imagine how sick of it the players & coaches will be?

There is no other team I want to beat more....Mara, NY, Goodell fixing and all that they do or at worst, slapping them on the wrist.

Bring 'em on, I really think we'd finally see our first Patriot blow out Superbowl win!

Remember how Butler snuffed ODB on every absolute occasion?

Remember how the game was closer than it should've been because McCourty took a really bad angle on ODB?

Sorry. We have a CB who thrives on receivers like ODB. We have a great run defense to stifle their already ****ty attack.

Our offense has faced more fierce front sevens than the Gaints this season. Cannon made Von Miller disappear.

I would love, LOVE for the Superbowl be that easy.

Edit: My mind was in Wu-Tang mode lmao. OBJ is to whom I was referring.

It seems pretty reasonable to believe that the Giants might indeed be in Superbowl this year.

The logic is based on one Super Fact--they beat the obviously best team in the NFC twice, and handed them their only two losses. Sounds like what they've done to us when we were on top of the world.

Both the Giants and Patriots are much different teams now than when they met in those two Super Bowls.

IF NEP and the NYG happen to both make the Super Bowl, sign me up.
A little luck, preparation, and execution, you win, if not you lose, against ANYONE!

The Giants are the team that least worry me in the NFC this year. Would rather face them and Detroit then any other team in the Superbowl.... Anything but Seattle, greenbay and Dallas.

Except that the Giants didn't have #13 then. He's so explosive from every part and angle of the field...sometimes he even has to tackle himself.

Will Jason P-P be back on the line for the playoffs?? He's another big gun no one wants to mess with.
