Obviously my post assumed Oakland knew the pats won

Ah, I wasn't thinking about times. But the NFL the past few years has been moving game times so in a situation like this both teams play at the same time, in order to keep teams playing competitive football. So I would imagine both NE and Oakland's game will be a the same time next week.
