OK, Now we need Oakland to lose some games

You think the Pats are gonna lose 3 of the next 8 games?

I have @Jets as a loss- Jets have too many advantages-bye week, back to back road with cross country for Pats.

Last game @Miami should be irrelevant with 1 seed sown up.

Figure one more loss in there somewhere. Maybe @Denver; Maybe Ravens; Maybe one WTF game.

I don't, but Tommy Boy usually has at least one poor or meh game per season, even if on a roll.
13-3
One loss in a close game because of the refs

I think we have the most insecure fanbase in the NFL.

We don't need Oakland or anyone else to do anything. We have a pretty good football team that should be able to go somewhere between 8-0 and 6-2 in the remaining games. It doesn't matter much what happens behind us because we have a pretty good shot at winning against anyone anywhere.

I don't care about Oakland dropping games, if you can't beat that team with that defense you don't deserve to go to the Superbowl, i'm concerned about Denver on the road and that's it.

If Oakland winning makes Denver a wildcard team then they can keep on winning as far as i'm concerned.

Who is the QB for the Jets? You do realize they lost to the Dolphins. The Jets are a mess, they have no identity, no defense, and no offense.

Who is the QB for the Jets?

That's pretty much the question for the entire rest of the schedule. Half a season remaining, and only one top-20 ranked QB left to play.

If the pats win out their schedule, as they should, they can't lose HFA.

Don't count on Denver beating Oakland in January either - Denver is beat up and Siemian is either hit or miss on any given sunday. The only team I see beating them is KC at home.

I can't bring myself to lose any sleep over Oakland, even if they lock up the #1 seed and we have to play them there in the AFCCG (which is a very unlikely scenario.)

Their next three are very winnable home games... They should get to 10-2. After that do have all three road divisional games left, at KC, at SD, and at DEN. There has to be at least one loss out of those three maybe two.

It's Oakland and Del Rio. Hang tight, it will happen.

1. Our offense vs. their defense is probably 40+ points on the board for us.

2. Butler vs. Cooper is a great matchup for us. BB could double Crabtree.

We all root against Denver for obvious reasons as their defense at home and home field advantage are arguably the best in the league.

If Oakland somehow goes 14-2 or 13-3 and earns HFA, so be it. I fully trust Brady and co. to deliver us an AFC title if the AFCCG is Pats @ Raiders.

I am glad to see the Raiders back...the NFL is better with them...(*sees tumbleweeds roll past patsfans.com lansdscape).

Any team wanting to give it to the NFL is ok in my books...

I agree. The league is more interesting with OAK relevant.

It was also great to see the home crowd really into it.

I do not want them to move to LV.

I don't see them doing better than 12-4, and probably 11-5. The Chiefs seem to have their number, and it'll be tough for them to win up in Denver. Throw another loss in there and that puts them at 11-5. I think KC is more of a concern in terms of HFA. I do NOT want us to go up to Arrowhead.

I think the league just likes to keep the "we'll move your franchise to Vegas" threat in their back pocket to better extort cities for more $$$ from time to time. God, I hate them so much.

I think the Donkos are in tough shape. Defense is still elite but that offense is miserable.

It would not surprise me if they finished 9-7

Well, yeah. They actually have to play teams that are healthy this season.
