He needs to stand out and the only way he can do that is to be the contrarian. He has chosen TB simply because he understands there is no better way to play the fool than to take that opposite tack from virtually every other football personality. Attention whore is my guess and what better way to get it as not many in the media will acknowledge stupidity in it's own ranks, likely because they can't recognize it.
