Gronk: It will be a coach's decision Thursday

He should play if he's ready. It's a conference game with the chance to go 3-0 in Brady's absence. Also, it's a chance to get a somewhat comfortable early lead on the Jets with them going to Arrowhead this weekend. So, if he feels good, he should go.

Conformation from MCI so I'm hesitant...

Volin.........what a stinky piece of ****

As for Gronk, having everyone should make the offense fairly productive even with Brissett

Defense has to play an entire game

The extra rest from an early week game is a nice benefit as well...I'm sure he'll be sore tomorrow, but it gives him time to readjust and get back at it next week.

Heck, maybe like last year's HOU game he can be more of a goal line package/in line blocker this week to get going; his blocking would be huge on that end.

Having Gronk and Bennett out there will give texans problems (as well with everyone else) since going on pass routes is something the texans will have to play so their run blocking would be even more effective and would stand to spring the RB's for lots of dump offs, delayed draws, etc......play action becomes beast also, and Brissett sells that well

Booo Booo I really getting to like Bennnett...Gronk is like that old X who just won't go away.

If he is active, it will be interesting to see how the coaching staff integrates him into the offensive packages. Does he play sparingly between the 20's, while being featured predominantly in the red zone? This seems to make the most sense to me, given that it would be his first spate of regular season action, and he would have to work his way towards being in "game condition".

Gronk on the field, even if at 80% is a HUGE addition as he opens up so many other things. If he is healthy you have to play him even for just 20 snaps or so. Just get him on the field and banging some rust off with 10 days rest after. This is the perfect way to bring an injuried player back and get him up to speed. We'll need him for Buffalo especially if Jimmy isn't good to go next week.

Given that it's a hamstring, I'd rather he sit until he's feeling "good" and not "decent". To easy too aggravate.

I think he plays... but will be limited

if it has to go down to a game time decision...call him out

im serious, if it's taht close of a call stay on the safe side, it isn't black and white, its gray as hell, its Gronk, wait until the gray becomes white then play him

a loss or two wont be as bad as not having him in playoffs

A "decent" description may just be gamesmanship.

On some level, I don't want Gronk to ever play. It's much less stressful watching a game knowing he can't get hurt.

I just want to know he's out there somewhere, ready to help if needed. Like Batman, or God, or I don't know, the Artic National Wildlife Refuge for environmentalists who don't want to drill there.

This made sense all along.
He was "game time decision" last week. But with only 3 days off it would be tough to play Sunday and again Thursday. So sit Sunday get the extra rest and okay Thursday with 10 days before the next game.

Screw the coaches' decision. Put a skirt on those guys.

This should be Tunescribe's and Joker's decision! Who's with me?

Tweet #wewantgronk if you think Tune and Joker should check out Gronk's hammy, and make the go-no go decision.

he will be likely active but play very limited snaps I think.

Note he says coach's (not coach and trainer's) decision. Bet he plays.
