is guaranteed to miss games every year? Do you include a bonus in his contract for games
played?
Hope I'm way off, bud.Just as I begin to warm up to you again, you stick the knife right in my heart...Heartstabberfly
Since when has a Patriots coach ever rushed a player back from injury??My conspiracy theory is that Gronk is listening to his doctors, his body and his family and not Patriots doctors, trainers and coaches. Its his body and livelihood and has the right to play when he thinks he can play.

I'm fine with this. just don't redo his contract.Good. Keep him out as long as possible so we can have him down the stretch.
And if you really look at BBs history there is no way you can conclude anything other than his tendency is to bring back players more slowly and conservatively from injury than other teams.None that we know about officially.

Tough to say. He clearly was ready to play. I don't know how you judge the chance of rebreaking a bone.I think they pushed Gronk for the playoff game vs HOU and I have no way of proving it.

Didn't he play the week before (2 weeks because of the bye)?
Hamstring injuries also are generally avoidable through proper conditioning and proper warming up. This is frustrating. Makes you wonder if Gronk ever will get through a full season without time on the shelf.Hamstring injuries can be extremely stubborn.
I don't buy any of that team Gronk had its own agenda crap.He played a bit vs MIA on the last game of the year. He was medically cleared. The question is by whom? The popular theory is that Gill was an enabler and was rubber stamping players to play but his departure was more about MGH politics than NEP player health.
IMO when it comes to injuries there is some distrust/leeriness between the team and Team Gronk. Just can't put my finger on when it all came to ahead but I suspect it was around the end of the 2012 season.
Your question earlier about when the team rushed a player back.....Ted Johnson re: concussions. With that said there is dispute to the story.
This, Just like TB. We got Grop now. Who needs Tom.System tight end, Marty proved that.
