"You never know what you're going to get. They always have a surprise for you." – Cardinals coach Bruce Arians on preparing for the Bill Belichick-coached Patriots.

Guessing the score is easy. Can anyone guess the surprise factor?

Since you have to be crazy to go for this - Ill go with DJ Foster

(On a less surprise note the constant long-field that our D & ST I believe will give them)

The surprise factor will be Gronk, people forget how dominant he is

I hope you were kidding. I don't think anyone is going to forget about Gronk.

On defense, Mingo will be a surprise.

On offense, I'd say james white or amendola.

I love the fact that the entire defense pretty much constitutes a surprise. Aside from the big boys in the middle, the entire front 7 is stocked with versatile athletes with good size whose position is essentially "front 7."

Surprise factor will be Brady in uniform running out of the tunnel for the second half

****s Roger gonna do have security remove him?!?!

Anthony Johnson would be my pick if I were to make one. The Cards are softer on the interior and he should be able to consistently generate some push to move Palmer out of the pocket.

How about Jimmy being the surprise factor?

I'm thinking the Pats gave other teams as little useful Intel, in preseason, as possible to prevent them from coming up with a plan to defend him.

Whatever Jimmy CAN do, I suspect we haven't seen it yet. Maybe the Pats can survive four games as teams try and devise a defensive strategy.

I say Chris Hogan and Martellus Bennett I think both will compliment this Offense pick your poison Gronk/Edelman. I think an honorable mention goes out to RB DJ Foster if he runs it effectively we already know he can catch.

I am intrigued to see what game plan they have installed for Jimmy G he's got some serious weapons at his disposal. I hope they give him the Green light to run some to keep the D honest.

3 tight end (Gronk, Bennett, Harbor) plus White and Foster. Split one or both backs out. Catch Arizona with their pants down in terms of personal and run the no huddle. Pound the ball in tight, go empty backfield. I think the surprise will come on offence.

If I was going to pick a defense surprise it would be Logan Ryan with 2 picks.

Can't wait for ESPN to run with that comment with the story that the Patriots are always getting away with something.

I was gonna say either him or Valentine.

Garropollo is in a unique position here for a back-up. He actually knows months in advance that he is going to be starting. And now with Brady suspended, he doesn't have to split the reps, or even have to deal with the questions of when Brady will be back (insert your best BB "************" here). His situation is unique, its almost like Brady retired and he has been handed the starting job, but for only a four week season. So he has a unique window of opportunity to show what he can do, but he knows that come the end of those 4 weeks, he will be regulated to the bench and/or traded. It will be interesting to see what he can do with the increased preparation time.

I'll say the surprise will be someone on the D-Line, and i'll say Trey Flowers.

The "surprise" will be Chandler Jones absolutely destroying the Patriots offense and will be a big reason why NE loses this game.
