It's a "Wired for Sound" video but Hogan shows a lot of really nice footwork and route running in this clip. He jukes his way out of a press at the line a couple times.

He's confident... I think his personality is a good fit with Edelman and Gronk for sure.

@viccarucci
Chris Hogan expected to get an offer sheet from #Patriots Friday AM. Hearing it will be tough one for #Bills to match to keep him.

Edelman
Hogan
Amendola
Martin
Harper/Dobson/mid-round rookie

eh....

Supposedly Hogan's offer sheet will arrive in Buffalo tomorrow morning. People are saying it will be hard for Buffalo to match.

Well if they lose Hogan they will have a tad under 6 million in cap space. If I'm Buffalo, anything under 4 I match just to f*ck with BB and the Pats.

If it's more than they can match then it's probably way too much anyways.

Lolz , White wide receivers are like Pokemon for BB. Gotta catch em all...

Jokes aside Hogan would be a solid pickup. He's a Patriot Killer (surprise surprise) let's just hope if he does sign, he ends up more like Welker than Chandler.

I'm wondering how this will work. So the Bills have roughly $4.5m in cap space... They need some of that for their rookie class including draft picks and UDFAs and I'm sure they're not done signing players themselves yet, so clearly they can't spend much more than this.

So how much is "difficult"? I am thinking BB gives Hogan a 3 year/$9 million deal, with $4 million in the first year, $2m in the second and $3m in the final. Buffalo would really have no sane way of matching that.

D Thomas is one of the most overrated WRs in the league.

edit: Just looked at his stats and they were far better than I thought. 4 straight seasons with 90+ receptions and 1,300+ yards. Wow. Can't fluke into those stats so I guess I was wrong. Although I've seen several Denver games over the last few years and he seemed pretty inconsistent and invisible at times.

He's a completely different player when he's got a lower leg injury.

That 4.5 includes Hogan at 1.5ish. So add 3 plus I'm sure they can make some space with restructures and such. You think Sexy won't do whatever he can?

Yeah I know but with a $4m cap hit this year then that means they are going from $1.5m to $4m on Hogan, which leaves them with only $2m in cap space left. Would they really want to be left with $2m in cap space and be forced to cut other players or hope someone will restructure?

I know man. I hope they sign him too. I honestly think Hogan & Streater would round out the Pats' WR corps quite nicely.
It really would. I like the idea of a three wr set Edelman,Hogan,Streater Gronk and whichever receiving back we have.

I guess Bill could go balls-to-the-wall and slap a $5 million cap hit in the first year of the deal, but that would then be hurting the Pats' salary cap situation this year some too.

Btw, not sure if discussed earlier but Clay Harbor wouldn't be a bad signing.
