I wasn't the one who said it. Just answering your question. I don't think this terrible, just hope for something more. Probably not coming though.
You never know brother... Not with this guy at helm.

Do we ever sign a free agent that another team is also interested in?

Does anyone know if Streater is visiting the Jets?
They would be vicious with Marshall Decker Streater 3 long fast strong receivers I do not want to see that

Got a visit with Jets on Tomorrow. So I'd say no Streater here.

Hopefully not more than $3m/year

Revis..sheard..amendola..not bb fault that no one wanted butler or lewis.. But in the last few years these were free agent signing with varying degrees of success.

And who's going to be throwing to them exactly?

Also, when did we get the idea that Streater is anything?

Who wanted Amendola besides us? And Revis didn't receive any other offer, not even one from the Jets.

The point is that it seems that if we run into even a bit of resistance toward signing a FA we just back off. When multiple teams are interested in someone we NEVER end up with them. I get not wanting to get into a bidding war but FFS.

When we lost out on every other receiver in FA and had to start talking up the trash that we have left to pick from

Talk about easily impressed... Especially watching him do it against a trash defense lol
I don't know why you are spending so much time in this thread just trashing other posters and players. What do you get out of it?

This is how BB does things, he's not gonna go blow huge money on a flashy toy. He's gonna find a young player with upside and get him on a good deal... I don't understand why trying to find positives about a player who is about to be signed is such a f***ing travesty. If you want big splashy FA moves then go root for Miami or Jacksonville.

Chris Hogan has some very respectable measurables.

Dates: 03/08@Fordham
Height: 6011
Weight: 221
40 Yrd Dash: 4.50
20 Yrd Dash: 2.63
10 Yrd Dash: 1.57
225 Lb. Bench Reps: 28
Vertical Jump: 36 1/2
Broad Jump: 10'06"
20 Yrd Shuttle: 4.15
3-Cone Drill: 6.75

Jules...

Dates: 03/12/09
Height: 5103
Weight: 195
40 Yrd Dash: 4.52
20 Yrd Dash: 2.58
10 Yrd Dash: 1.52
225 Lb. Bench Reps: 14
Vertical Jump: 36 1/2
Broad Jump: 10'03"
20 Yrd Shuttle: 3.92
3-Cone Drill: 6.62

Clearly not as quick as Jules but he moves pretty well for a bigger receiver.

Like we could have really used Stevie Johnson last season but of course when it came down to it we lost him to the Chargers. 3 years 10.5 million. That looks like a pretty good deal in today's market doesn't it?

Whenever it's reported that the Patriots are "in the mix" for someone they never end up with them. Every free agent they sign seems to have only been targeted by us.
