Good. I think he can be some nice depth at corner moving forward.

Like his potential. During the 2nd half of the season he was arguably a better nickel CB than Arrington already.

He showed flashes and I always root for undrafted guys. Imagine if he steps it up and takes the other starting CB spot. Coupled with what Butler has become that would be outstanding!

Definitely not a need however if the draft unfolds and the top player on our board is in fact a defensive back then you must
TRADE DOWN

I'm hoping that with 10 picks starting at #60 and 4 we can't move because they're comp picks that we TRADE UP before we're faced with that scenario.

Identify a player at a position of need and GO GET HIM.

Good news, he was surprisingly capable when called upon. I dunno if he can be counted on as a starter, but it adds to the collection of CB3 talents that provide some insurance against ending up in a 2011 scenario again. For the money, I'll take it.

Nice depth player. 3rd or 4th DB. Glad hes coming back.

I'm at ease with a unit that consists of Butler, Ryan, Brown, Roberts, and Coleman.

It's been a long time since we saw a rookie placed on IR actually contribute to the team in some capacity, so I'm a bit cautious in regards to Roberts. Tarrell Brown resigning would be nice depth and competition if it happens, otherwise I'd prefer to see another CB added either through the draft or FA.

Ben Watson?

did you know Ben Watson scored the highest ever on the NFL's intelligence test? My older brother told me this tonight...he read it in the Herald or Globe I guess...a 188 IQ?

Ben Watson?

Good memory, @Fencer--but let me clarify: it's been an awful long time since we saw a rookie placed on IR in a redshirt season with an injury or case of the "Foxborough Flu," then go on to actually contribute on the squad. The high majority of the time they seem to drift off into the abyss, whether that means staying for a season or two, or just outright getting cut the next summer.

In that regard, Watson wouldn't technically count due to playing a game in his rookie season, while seeing 4 targets and catching a couple of passes. Your point certainly stands however, and Watson is a prime example of someone who returned from injury to contribute nicely over time. Hopefully, we see the same with Darryl Roberts, although even then I'm going to remain cautiously optimistic due to seeing TC warriors who haven't gone on to accomplish much during actual, live game reps.

In other words, this is a long-winded way of saying that I'd still like to see another CB brought in one way or another.

That's a pretty crazy IQ score, Joker. Us humble BU grads couldn't fathom something in that range.

I'm happy when I'm hitting triple digits.

I know Supe...all I remember from high school was the Stanford-Binet IQ test and it's upper limit was 160...genius IQ was 140 and above. I think this IQ test they are using has an upper limit of 200 but I can't find anything on this so far so maybe...BOOLSHIITE!

Glad to see you spent time on Comm Ave, right across from the T... Mal's Bagel Shop across the St. was a fave, right below the very expensive copy center where we infringed upon copyright issues, in the shadow of Fenway.. BU is really good memories.
