I'm wondering if there may have been some attitude concerns as well, although that's obviously just personal speculation.

In his defense, I imagine some of that would go hand in hand with a reduced role/injury situation, but if De'angelo Williams is getting any of his recent information from the more obvious avenue aka ties to LaFell, then that's certainly troublesome.

I, personally, would prefer Forte over Foster if the team goes the vet RB route via FA. Similar skill-set, albeit more durable and not currently rehabbing a serious injury.

This is a very important free agency for NE. Lots of talent being made available and lots of decisions on their own roster. Who they let go and who they bring in well make or break their season.

Pittsburgh is stacked at WR and they drafted Sammy Coates last year I wonder if they would move a Markus Wheaton if the price or pick is right?
