THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

game was lost in 1st quarter when they were running on 3rd and 8..

Game was lost in the first half when we decided that we should start the game with 11 straight runs (one shovel pass which is essentially a run). Just bizarre.

This is the first time a Pats team has struggled like this post thanksgiving. The Pats most likely will face KC and that is the team I feared the most.

One and done.

The same denver team which lost to the raiders at home.

And the Chiefs, who may be the best team in the AFC right now.

They played Brady because Brady plays every game. Brady does not want to sit out games, he never has in his career. I do not know why anyone expected anything different.
He played less last year in the final game at Buffalo.

Patriots spent all high draft picks on defense, but they are not good enough to win them games. This team team needs good offense to win. It is about time for the Patriots spend all their pick on Oline, WR and RB.

What fan base signs up for a 2-4 run to end the season and 3 losses to non playoff teams in December and Jan?

I'm planning an all hands on deck during the playoffs. I think key players will have 2 weeks to get as healthy as possible.

I think BB was playing to win but put a priority on getting players healthy. He also gave S Jax a chance to get some reps in.

We'll see how this works out but these guys have played through a ridiculously injure laden season. Let's see how it works out in two weeks.

Unusual year. Not spent [like the 2013 version] certainly not in rhythm offensively. However, a bye week home field all the way or not. Healthy[?] Brady Edelman, Amendola LaFell and Gronk. Good 3rd down back in White and Red Zone target in chandler [think positive, any asset might come through]. AND Steven Jackson.

Week to rest, week to practice, you practice well, you play well.

Defense has looked good despite injuries [SHEARD!] Hightower and Chandler back.

We benefit tremendously from this bye.

It could be anybody's year, why not ours, I say?

I have never seen so many people act like rabid racoons than the people in this thread. lmfao

This thread is actually pretty entertaining once I got over my anger about the game. This thread is like a war zone. Lots of people at each other's throats.

Pinning my hopes on health now. I'm not sure if Edelman and Volmer are going to be the solve all on offense but I do know it will be better than what it is the last few weeks.
Despite missing 7 1/2 games Edelman was 2nd on the team in receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns to Gronkowski. It continues to shock me how much people undervalue his significance to the team.

Everyone keeps bagging on LaFell. He's not some #1 WR who's going to make ridiculous plays like Edelman and Gronk. He's there to pick up the slack along with Amendola once Edelman and Gronk are getting too much attention. If you're expecting him to be someone who can put the offense on his back your expecations are too high.

It would be nice if they could flip a switch and become a good team while sitting around for 2 weeks.
Right now this is the worst I've seen this team look since bb got here. Does anyone dispute that? And these were games that mattered a lot.

During the week, many fans thought it would be easy to run on the Phins, so the Pats should run. I thought this was a mistake because the Phins would expect that.

I think BB was getting SJ touches early.

But what about the 28 teams that average less points per game then them?
You're living in the past. The offense today is trash. Hope that you can flip the way back machine to September.

2002 and 2009 were much worse.
