Gronkowski Reportedly Avoided Major Injury
Monday, Nov. 30
Dianna Marie Russini of ESPN reported Gronkowski's injury "is being described as more of a bruise of the knee than a tear," citing sources. Russini added Gronkowski is "week to week."

I would rest Gronk and tell him to come back in the playoffs lol.
With the way this season is going???

I think 1/2 of this board will agree with you. Including me.

They're reporting bone bruise but NO TEARS (or tears for that matter.LOL)!!!

I know there are guys talking about wanting to see Denver again in the playoffs, but I'll pass. I don't think there was anything dirty about the Gronk hit, but their guys do have a propensity to always go low on everyone, it seems.

They are dirty. We should go down low and see how they like it.

only a bruise?
then gronk should be able to play against philly. maybe they'll limit his snaps.

Gronkowski's MRI revealed a minor knee strain, per source. He'll recover in 1-2 weeks.

Damn. That texans got alot more difficult. Ughh. Glad everything 's well with gronk

I never said whether or not they were dirty. I simply said I didn't see anything dirty with the hit to Gronk. And I will stand by that no matter what. Not everything another team does is intended to cause injury, especially considering the guy who made the hit took his helmet off and got down on one knee. I guess I just try to look at things differently. You are entitled to your opinion.

Rest him for Philly since we can likely get Dola back for that one and be fine without him for it.

I hope this doesn't turn into one those "it's only a 'bruise' why isn't he playing??" things.

I broke my leg years ago. It didn't hurt that bad, but I was in a cast for six weeks. I got a bone bruise in my leg, excruciating. 100 times more painful than the break. But I was fine within a week.

rap sheet saying gronk has a minor knee strain.
at most,gronk misses a week.

i can carry on with my day now.

I think there's a good chance he can play in the Houston game.

Anyone feel this year has been extremely unfortunate in terms of injuries, and yet extremely fortunate at the same time?

All of these injuries, and yet all of them Except Solder and Lewis will be able to return.

Combining everything, I expect him to miss the Philly game and play against Houston.

The problem being that as bad as Philly looks, we'll have no Gronk, Edelman, Dobson. Sounds like Amendola will play.

We'll have no High (guess) and a (probably not full strength) Collins against a team that does a ton of short stuff.

Still think we'll beat Philly but we're almost out of players.
