To me, it looked like the stop route that Edelman frequently runs, but LaFell kept going. Brady threw to a spot. By continuing, LAFELL was in the wrong place & dragged the defender to the spot where he was supposed to be.

No. Brady made a mistake. I believe it was reported that he took blame for the throw, to Lafell.

To me it looks like Brady threw too late. I don't know that LaFell was supposed to have stopped and gone.

No. This might be a shocker but Brady occasionally has a bad play. That was one of a few he had tonight.

Maybe, if he's running the wrong route - but as Brady apologised to him afterwards claiming it was a crap throw, I'd say it's on the GOAT.

I thought it was at first, because LaFell drifted after the cut instead of sitting down. Brady took ownership of it, but he does that all the time.

Bottom line: We may never know.

Brady threw it 3 feet behind him. LaFell was open for the TD.

LaFell went over to Brady on the sideline and told him not to worry about it.

Brady makes mistakes. He made quite a few today.

We'll never know. Brady would own up to any int his fault or not.

Unlike Manning, who basically threw his offensive line and Thomas under the bus last week for the interception at the end.

Didn't lafell do the same move in the super bowl? It looked like a bad throw by Brady.

LaFell on int: "Aw man I got happy, I got happy. I came off and I rushed my route a little bit. I fell in the end zone and I kind of faded at the last minute. I should've just stayed flat and took my time over there and slowed down cause the play takes awhile to develop...but I just rushed it."

Brady on LaFell's explanation: "Well it wasn't a good throw so that's what my responsibility is, and he and I are always working to get on the same page. It's just one of those things that happens in football and you certainly don't hope they come up in critical [times] but I could've certainly made a better throw."

From this it looks like it was some timing/miscommunication with LaFell, but Brady could've/should've adjusted.

Link on the Lafell portion?

I think he simply underthrew it. Too much pressure, he couldn't step up into the throw. That's what happens when you get pressure. Hopefully as the Oline gets healthy we won't see anymore throws like that!
