Some dipshit is on ESPN right now explaining that the NFL is highly confident that the "conservative second circuit court of appeals" will overturn Berman's verdict on appeal.

BTW, anyone know if Berman agreed in his decision that lack of notice was incurable, and therefore can't be rearbitrated? Did he find that Goodell was evidently biased?

Very confident that this will survive appeal, so the last remaining hurdle is potential rearbitration. Sounds like this won't happen, though, since the notice argument won.

It was the right call. The wheel (which is how judges are assigned) favored justice. Berman did the right thing.

His handling of the rest of it left a lot to be desired. Legal advice about as competent as the rest of the NFL Front Office.
