After this has been released i see no way judge berman can rule that goodell was fair and bradys suspension gets thrown out

Nfl just did what they wanted without regard to the facts or cba

Well none of us thought this stupidity would get this far, but here we are. Like everyone else here, I really really hope that Berman would be the first sign of sanity of this process. But we have all been burned before along the way.

Well espn radio certainly didn't give Adam Schefter much time to talk about yesterday's release but hey he got in there that as long as he's known Tom, he's a man of character and after reading that he said "I'm sorry I believe him". Think he put the I'm sorry part in there because he knows that's not what they want him to say? Lol

Heard that too. Am I the only one who wants to punch Cris Carter in the face? Why does he hate the Patriots so much?

Nope your not the only one

Additional question - did anyone see questioning of 12.95 reading of Colts football? On this board, someone suggested that it was written 12.05 and then misreaded.
If NFL stay by 12.95, quarter of Colts footballs was over-inflated. No reliable scientific explanation exist why ball pressure stay the same, not changed with temperature.
If it's indeed incorrect reading, it will change numbers to exonerate Patriots based on statistical result.

No Trent Dilfer does as well.

Did you notice how they gave him plenty of time to talk about Ray Rice but than when got to the release said "real quick cause we got to go"? It's so obvious espn has to keep a lid on how much positive talk they can do on Brady. They know adam has been pro brady....so let's not ask him very much or give him very much time to talk about it. Lol

I've been swamped in work over the last 24 hours and this thread is 30 pages. I need a Cliff's Notes version of what the transcript says from a reliable source. Anybody care to help me out? And yes, I'm Googling as we speak.

What a coinky-dink. The intelligent and responsible journalists/media people tend to back the Brady camp and the idiots/irresponsible journalists are pro-NFL.

I did notice that. As soon as Schefter spoke, they quickly moved on.

Also it goes to show how honest their settlement talks are. If the rumor was true that the NFL wanted Brady to admit guilt then it shows they expected him (wanted him) to say he was lying under oath in his appeal.

Just read McCann's analysis. The transcript is damning toward the NFL but, based on what I read, McCann states that Berman could still rule in the NFL's favor because he could rule that Goodell and the league accurately applied Article 46 of the CBA? So, essentially, this joke of a CBA could still screw Brady? Well great. We're not out of the woods yet, then.

Well , now his son plays for the colts too. No conflict of interest there ,right ?

Oh f***

This is huge.

The NFL hasn’t secured via collective bargaining the ability to impose a suspension for these types of “cheating” violations, even when the player is personally committing the offense. More importantly, the NFL hasn’t informed players that they can be suspended for such behavior.

That alone, in the opinion of the NFLPA, will keep Brady from being suspended. The real question is whether Judge Richard M. Berman disagrees.
