Everyone, Brady isn't as rich as we think. He buys pre-paid phones from Walmart just like anybody would! Rumor has it he likes the simple features and that the phones they sell at Walmart still come preloaded with his favorite video game, "Snake."

it's brady's appeal -- commish doesn't need to call anybody or do anything, esp since he's judge/king

Right - but as Florio affirms, the Commisioner is Judge/King

He can call anyone he wants he thinks is relevant to the case

And two people he clearly DOESN'T think are relevant to the case - and two people he DOESN'T want to have the sworn testimony of - is McNally and Jastremski

He might have been able to pass this off if, like the NFLPA, he was "good" with their testimony as is (The NFLPA would have no reason to call them since they've stated nothing happened - having them affirm that on the stand would be good - but not worth the risk of subjecting them to further questioning)

But Ted Wells is on the record being adamant that he wanted to ask them more questions

Roger isn't interested in that - and isn't interested in having them swear - under penalty of perjury - that they did or didn't deflate footballs

You really couldn't ask for better evidence that whether or not the footballs were inflated is NOT something Roger is interested in
