I'm no Bobby Kraft.Quitter.
The percentage of fans who are following this in detail is negligible and that includes Patriots fans. People don't have the attention span for anything, most people just see it as a headline during their day and make their presumptions without ever caring about a single detail.
Just look at how the media and public took their attempted rebuttal. They found one single thing to harp on and laughed the entire thing away saying that there is no way deflate means losing weight. It's impossible for the Patriots to sway public opinion, people believe what they *want* to believe, that's just a fact of humanity. Large amounts of people believe all sorts of nonsense from anti-vaccination to climate change denial, facts are quite literally meaningless, people formulate opinions based on their cognitive biases and that's that. No one believes the Patriots, no one will ever believe the Patriots, no matter what Kraft does, no one will ever believe the Patriots, because the Patriots are on top.
Maybe Kraft intended on fighting the league but eventually thought better of it, maybe he saw the terrible reception of the facts from the website, maybe he realized that it's an impossible battle, who knows, but people need to stop pretending that Kraft is all-powerful or that he doesn't care about his own organization.
Fighting a long losing battle just to make some fans feel better doesn't make a lot of sense. At best, it does absolutely nothing to help the Patriots on or off the field, at worst, it directly hurts them on or off the field.
The point is that any Pats fan who gives a damn should be rightfully outraged, instead of trying to rationalize his decision or concern trolling.
But then Goodell got up and softened NOTHING. The continued rhetoric of integrity of the game, as if this alleged rules violation actually undermined the integrity of the game, is sickening. IT was the same deal with spygate.
I'm worn out. After months of having your team get kicked in the dirt their just comes a point where you just don't care anymore.
I care about the Patriots team. But I've had it with deflategate And the owner who has two faces.
I want him to keep helping the Patriots produce on the field, and bring me entertainment, not fight a war he cannot win.
At this point does anything really make sense?OK. So why are you so concerned about the people who do care?

How much is he paying you to come on for him?I'm no Bobby Kraft.
He didn't he promised me he would but backed down at the last second. How much is he paying you to come on for him?
Kraft may own the team, but it's not just HIS team. It's named after a region that encompasses six states and has a population of over 15 million people who all spend quite a bit of money on Bob's team. He needs to rethink about where his good fortune has come from before he starts to throw his fans and QB into the fire to make his 31 good buddies happy. This board never changes, drastically overreacts to every single little thing.
But hey let's go ahead and pretend that Kraft doesn't have a lot more to consider than us as fanatics. It's the same nonsense in trying to analyze every tiny detail from Belichick to Brady, you get a tiny fraction of the information and deem yourself as the expert on how it should have went. Well now you have your next villain, you actively choose to vilify people who do good for your "favorite" team. It's borderline insanity around here!
This is Kraft's team, his actions have direct consequence to this team and to his livelihood. But hey, let's just pretend he can and should do every little thing we wish he would to appease our emotional instability. Being the best of the best isn't good enough, we need more, damnit! We deserve it too because we spent a few bucks this one time!
Don't look now, but the boston media is a direct representation of its fanbase.

Yes he is responsible for this ********. He had a good hand in making and keeping Goodell as commissioner and if alienating the fanbase of your team is a good business decision then that is a difference in opinion. The comparison between coffee and the Patriots is just dumb.I mean it is quite literally HIS team. Is "New England Coffee Company" mine if I buy a cup of coffee? We fans are customers, not owners. No business survives without customers, but I think this board is being a little too dramatic with accusations of being thrown into the fire.
Kraft didn't accuse the Patriots of cheating, Kraft cannot change the opinion of millions of fans who want us to be cheaters, Kraft is not responsible for this BS. Even if he goes along with it for the sake of business, it is still not his fault. At the end of the day, any business owner has to do what is right for the business, otherwise their business will not succeed.

Just not true. The Goldberg report absolutely changed the dialogue. Mike Greenberg of all people actually said after reading that he thought the Wells report VINDICATED the Patriots. It is IMPOSSIBLE to clear the Patriots name in the eyes of the public. History will be kind to us, but ask anyone on top, people will always try to bring you down, no matter what, *while* you are on top. Just accept it and enjoy being on top.
The public accepted a lot of the Goldberg report. No he absolutely did not. In fact he released thorough debunking of the accusations, and the public laughed, pointed, and still called us cheaters. There is NOTHING he can do, literally.
What are you talking about? It was a properly enforced rule. There was no asterisk, you are lying now.Not by the team but the NFL was accused of cheating for the Patriots because of 2001 and their team name... It used to be an asterisk.
That is irrelevant to your claim that Spygate is an afterthought. There are people who defend and people who bash. But let's be realistic, Revis is a New York Jet.
Where do I start?A fact of life. Don't be so emotional that you can't understand that matter of a fact statement. No matter how strongly you feel, if 31 other owners feel different and are saying "no", you can't do **** about it. You are a voluntary member of the group, you have 3% say, you can try to appeal to the others if you feel mistreated, but you don't have power to dictate. Raising a public stink does absolutely nothing but hurt everyone, it would be cutting off your nose to spite your face.
I think your head is too far up Krafts *** for you to have perspective, but take a look around. 95% of fans hate Bob Kraft now. Bob Kraft stopped defending the integrity of the team because the other owners would rather he stopped talking about it. He ACCEPTED GUILT. He was given a guilty verdict for cheating and said "I won't appeal". If you don't think that is screwing the fans then I have no idea what you have in the place of where pride is supposed to be.You desperately need perspective. He didn't screw the fans, maybe you're too wrapped up in your bubble.
Every title is considered marred by cheating. That is on Kraft because both times he could have stood up for the team, and chose not to.Personally I'd still much rather be a fan of the Patriots than any other team today. They can accuse the Pats of cheating all they want, deep down everyone knows the Patriots are just better than their team. I don't care, give me the titles.
Quite ironic. You are being overly naive Andy.
Both have the right to appeal the findings of the Wells report. Both have the same report to 'win easily' against. Not even close, unions and business owners have completely different avenues and responsibilities.
Oh, so people who disagree with you should go away?So you're never going to contribute to the NFL again? Maybe you should start by not investing emotionally into it on a messageboard?
I am very happy that this team has few fans like you.Anyway, a very apt way to end, since there is such a massive misconception about lemmings.
You can extend it or end it.I can't do it Deus! It's too much hard work and effort..
