I understand they don't have the smoking gun and all of this is probable but this is pretty damning evidence for Brady.

Regardless it's hard for me to truly belive Brady knew nothing about this and it is disappointing as pats fan Brady appears to have gone to these underhanded tactics to win games.

Guilty or not this damages his legacy. I expect at least a 4 game suspension , maybe longer.

This post intrigued me, so I went and looked at your posting history.

Pretty consistent.

Multiple teams coverup of extensive player concussions: irrelevant.
Coverup and sabotage of investigation into CTE: irrelevant.
Domestic violence: irrelevant.
Assault and battery: irrelevant.
PED: irrelevant.
Colts waiting more than two months to report "overinflated balls": irrelevant.
"More probable than not": UNBELIEVABLY HORRENDOUS DISASTER!

.@AdamSchefter said discipline is expected to be announced in a couple days. Expect it to come tomorrow between 5-7.

I would really be surpised if there were a game suspension. Suspending a player on a "more probable than not" princple would be setting a new precedence. Should the NFL be dumb enough to go down this path, this will be easily overturned in court.

Would the NFL remove one of its biggest stars from the national stage on opening night? I'll go out on a branch and hedge my bets that the NFL isn't that dumb- they are first and foremost a profit machine.

Yep. Friday night. Swept under the rug. Nonchalant.

I would be surprised if they dont suspend him. Goodell is just gauging public opinion to make a call .If he were to go just by the report he would've announced it when the report was released.

According to Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald, a league source familiar with the disciplinary process said we shouldn’t dismiss the possibility that Brady might go away for a period of time.

Everything is being studied, everything is being considered,” the source said (emphasis Armando’s, not mine).

I wont be surprised if the NFL 'blackmail's' brady to accept something in exchange for a fine without suspension. I wont put it beyond them.

Not sure how I missed it the first time around, but saw this in the report which IMHO makes McNally look even shadier -- McNally's "job responsibilities as Officials Locker Room attendant did not involve the preparation, inflation or deflation of Patriots game balls."

Jastremski is an equipment manager, not McNally. So why are the two talking about McNally doing stuff with the balls?

Think about this. Goodell waited till the week after the draft to announce this, that way it wouldn't take away from the draft and all the media outlets could concentrate on it. It makes me think the fix is in and goodell is capable of doing anything. He can look tough and decisive by hitting brady and the pats hard after looking so inept handling the rice and peterson cases. Going after those cheating patriots is a way for him to redeem himself.

just listened to polian on pti. god, he's such a miserable old man

he said that the two attendants weren't available for follow up interviews, yet kraft said they were interviewed 4 times...

Just in case you needed more evidence that the media is vile. They are rushing to take tickets from the students so they can attack Tom some more.

that will be a huge media session...the press probably paid double to the students.

tom should cancel. lol

That does indeed seem quite shady. It raises some questions for sure.

I'm not sure what it will entail exactly. Its not supposed to be this big press event. I'm not expecting the media people being able to scream out at him, "Omg what will you say to the children?!?"
